August 25, 2025 — a routine traffic stop in Fort Smith quickly turned into a multi-unit pursuit when the rider of a black Kawasaki motorcycle refused to pull over. Arkansas State Police Troopers Grady Pettigrew, Matthew Price, and Diego Araujo all joined the chase as it stretched from Phoenix Avenue onto surrounding streets and highways. With three troopers converging from different angles, the pursuit captured on dashcams shows just how quickly things can escalate when a rider chooses flight over compliance.
