August 25, 2025 — a routine traffic stop in Fort Smith quickly turned into a multi-unit pursuit when the rider of a black Kawasaki motorcycle refused to pull over. Arkansas State Police Troopers Grady Pettigrew, Matthew Price, and Diego Araujo all joined the chase as it stretched from Phoenix Avenue onto surrounding streets and highways. With three troopers converging from different angles, the pursuit captured on dashcams shows just how quickly things can escalate when a rider chooses flight over compliance. Coordination, radio discipline, and persistence all played key roles as traffic and speeds increased. 📌 Incident Details • Date: August 25, 2025 • Time: 5:38 PM • Location: Fort Smith, Arkansas (Phoenix Ave. & surrounding areas) • Vehicle: 2017 Black Kawasaki Motorcycle • Troopers Involved: Grady Pettigrew, Matthew Price, Diego Araujo • Outcome: (Revealed in video) ⸻ ⚡ Pursuit Highlights ✔ Motorcycle refused traffic stop, initiating pursuit ✔ Three troopers engaged from multiple directions ✔ Rider cut through city streets and highways at high speeds ✔ Dangerous weaving through traffic documented on dashcam ✔ Multi-unit teamwork kept pressure on the suspect ⸻ ⚖️ Likely Charges (Pending Court) • Felony Fleeing (Vehicle) • Reckless Driving • Driving on Suspended License • Careless and Prohibited Driving • Failure to Obey Stop ⸻ 🔖 Hashtags #PoliceChase #ArkansasStatePolice #MotorcyclePursuit
