He turned on his emergency lights to pull the car over, and the driver stopped by the exit ramp to US 202&206. After notifying dispatch, he approached the vehicle and identified the driver as Kelsey. Officer Monika Thiel soon arrived to help. Meanwhile, Officer Gallo began talking to Kelsey and noticed signs that she might be impaired. He asked her where she had been, and her answers did not match. At first, she said she had not drunk any alcohol before getting behind the wheel, but later she confessed to having a glass of wine earlier. Suspecting impairment, the officers asked Kelsey to step out of the car and take some field sobriety tests. Officers Noah Allatt and Arturo Gonzales also came to assist. Officer Allatt began by conducting the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus (HGN) test. Next came the Walk and Turn test. During this test, Kelsey struggled to stay in the starting position and did not cooperate, which meant the test could not be completed properly. Finally, they tried the One Leg Stand test, but once again, Kelsey did not follow the instructions. Kelsey was arrested due to her reckless driving, the smell of alcohol, her admission of drinking earlier, and her failure to complete field sobriety tests. Following her arrest, her car was towed and held for 12 hours as required by John’s Law. Officer Gallo took Kelsey to the Bridgewater Police Department for processing. At the station, he informed her of the Standard Statement for Motor Vehicle Operators, and she agreed to provide breath samples. The Alcotest revealed her blood alcohol concentration (BAC) was 0.30%, nearly four times the legal limit of 0.08%. After completing her processing, Kelsey was handed over to a sober adult. This was done while the adult signed the Potential Liability Warning on her behalf, as she awaited her court date. Officer Gallo then issued Kelsey several citations: operating under the influence, reckless driving, careless driving, and driving or parking an unregistered vehicle. 4:27 I should stop talking the cop laughing to himself 7:45 That "one glass of wine" must have been really strong! 20:20 In Sommerville, the cuffed me in the front. 24:19 is that her ghost sitting next to her? 38:01 her ride says Maybe this will wake her up She needs help 38:17 So she will be working the next morning in the ER If you enjoyed this BodyCamBust video.
