On the evening of April 21st, 2024, Sea Bright police officers were responding to a separate call when they witnessed a vehicle backing up and colliding with a parked car. This unexpected turn of events prompted the officers to immediately approach the vehicle to investigate the situation and ensure everyone's safety. Upon approaching the car, one of the officers suspected that the driver, identified as Juliana Florabasilioolive, might be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Standard protocol in such situations dictates that officers conduct a field sobriety test to gauge the driver's sobriety. However, Ms. Florabasilioolive reportedly refused to submit to a chemical test, which is a legal procedure used to determine the presence and level of intoxicants in a person's system. Given the observed driving behavior and the failure of the FST, Ms. Florabasilioolive was arrested and charged with the following offenses: Driving Under the Influence (DUI) of alcohol or drugs, Reckless driving, and Refusal to submit to a chemical test. #seabright @newjersey #bodycam
