During the interaction, the officer observed slurred speech and detected a strong odor of alcohol, prompting a request for documentation which was denied, and subsequently, field sobriety exercises were offered. Despite clear instructions and the driver confirming understanding for tests like the Walk and Turn, the individual struggled significantly, failing to maintain balance or follow the prescribed steps, and ultimately refused to complete certain tasks.
