When they arrived, they saw the man, identified as 38-yearold Eugene Ortiz of Manhattan, shouting at an employee and pointing directly into his face. An on-scene investigation revealed that Ortiz had shoplifted several packs of baby wipes and tried to leave the store. Employees grabbed the bag he had placed the wipes in, and escorted Ortiz out of the store. Ortiz was still in possession of two packages of wipes, and as he walked out of the store, he shoved the employee. Ortiz was arrested and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters. He was charged with robbery and transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility. #shoplifting #Hoboken #CVS
