He spotted a 2007 Corolla that nearly hit the curb while turning from Whitman Street onto Grand Avenue. As he followed the car, he realized the driver was heading the wrong way for a stretch of time. Acting on this, he decided to pull the car over. The driver, a 19-year-old named Cyanna Blair-Lawrence, appeared confused when Deputy Miller asked her why she was being stopped. She explained that she and a friend had just left Timber, a local bar, but insisted she hadn’t been drinking that night. Deputy Miller noticed Cyanna's unusual driving and, after she mentioned being at a well-known local bar, offered her a chance to take voluntary field sobriety tests. Shortly after, Deputy Heidi Lambley joined the traffic stop to help out. Deputy Miller saw that Cyanna had bloodshot, watery eyes and her speech was slurred. The first test was the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus (HGN), where the Deputy observed that Cyanna couldn't smoothly follow an object with her eyes, showed visible shaking at the edges of her gaze, and began to shake before reaching a 45-degree angle. During the Walk and Turn test, she struggled to stay on a straight path and nearly fell while trying to turn. In the final One Leg Stand test, Cyanna lost her balance and only counted to six in 30 seconds. After completing the voluntary field sobriety tests, Cyanna was asked to take a Preliminary Breath Test (PBT) on her own accord. The result came back at 0.221, which is over twice the legal limit. Due to her inability to pass the field sobriety tests and the high PBT reading, Deputy Miller arrested Cyanna for driving under the influence. She was then taken to the Pullman Police Department, where she chose to give up her constitutional rights and agreed to answer their questions. After Cyanna finished her 20-minute observation period, Deputy Miller informed her about the implied consent warnings. She agreed to a breathalyzer test. The results from the Drager Alcotest showed her blood alcohol concentration (BAC) was 0.177% and then 0.182%, both well over the legal limit. After the test, Cyanna was taken to the Whitman County Jail in Colfax, Washington, where her bail was set at $500. She received a citation for Driving under the Influence (DUI) under RCW 46.61.502 and was released after paying her bail. 4:56 Audio redacted because of intense smell of B.S. 6:11 is that light designed to induce epilepsy in her, or what, LOL 7:46 She’s already trying on her new digital prison clothes 45:37 There’s a faint EVP that says get off me 46:15 The legal limit in Washington is .02? 51:46 Such sweet young ladies.
