buymeacoffee.com/BlueLineLens On June 24, 2023, officers responded to a reported domestic battery incident. Upon arrival, the officers encountered the victim. She presented with visible distress and a laceration on her left shoulder. She reported that her sister initiated a physical altercation, scratching her shoulder during a dispute regarding Sherlyn’s living arrangements. The sister alleged that her half sister had bitten her arm. However, upon examination, officers found no evidence of bite marks. Further investigation revealed that she lacked teeth or dentures, rendering her incapable of inflicting such an injury. She remained uncooperative and refused to provide a clear explanation for the altercation. During the attempt to detain her for domestic battery, she resisted arrest by bracing her arms and pulling away from the officers. During the handcuffing process, she further assaulted an officer by digging her nails into the officer’s hand, causing a laceration. She was subsequently arrested and charged with domestic battery, resisting arrest with violence, and battery on a law enforcement officer. She was transported to Bay County Jail without incident. She provided a recorded statement corroborating her initial account. Photographic documentation of both lacerations was obtained. These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. #domestic #news #Florida
