We're hopefully on the cusp of another solved Cold Case! On the latest episode of 56: A Pinellas County Sheriff's Office Podcast, Cold Case Detective Corporal Ron Chalmers updated us on the case of Shirley Badger Trenner, murdered while working at a computer store back in 1985. DNA testing wasn't around in 1985, but detectives still swabbed blood and collected evidence at the scene. Today, genetic genealogy technology is solving cases left and right, and we're hoping Shirley's case next. Hear the full update, plus other cases on Corporal Chalmers' desk, in Episode 30: Cold Case, Warm Leads. Check it out wherever you listen to podcasts.
