On February 7, 2022, around 2:00 a.m., Peel Regional Police received a 911 call from customers at a local Brampton retail store, with reports that a female was unconscious and bleeding profusely after being stabbed in the neck. Cst. Judith Solomon, a 2-year veteran of the Peel Region Police Service, was the first officer to arrive on the scene. Upon entering the store, Cst.
