started off as a disturbance and sometimes a lot of calls start off that way until you get there and figure out what's kind of happening just going into it my mind was just kind of like all over the place because I didn't know what I was uh getting into uh so I was like okay we're just gonna get in there we're gonna have to figure out what's going on obviously the person that had the victim had family members around her so I directed uh one of the family members to put pressure on her neck just to keep the bleeding down until I can come back to help with first aid information came in very slowly I was asking I believe it was the mom where the culprit was and if I could get a description of her so I gave uh I walked up towards me and said she's right there she's on the ground and so I started running towards where the employee was and I just kind of just told them to stay to the side I walked up to the female kept a bit of a distance just in case she still had any weapons on her or she had her hands up so that kind of gave me a sigh of relief okay like this arrest may go by a lot easier so I handed her off to one of my colleagues he took her out and then I went back to the victim and then I saw the victim so I just had family kind of step away I put pressure on it I kept her talking to me I had her do some like wiggle your fingers wiggle your to your toes tell me your name just to see how like how alert she was to see where if she knew where she was like what her name was just like the little details um Hospital Sunnybrook they do amazing work there so when she left and the paramedic side life-saving efforts were made
