On May 31, 2024, at approximately 3:05 p.m., Police Officer Jessica Pizanie responded to the intersection of Washington and Sixth Streets on reports of an assault. When she got there, the caller said that while she was walking, a woman approached her and punched her in the ear, causing it to swell up. The victim said she was in pain and her hearing was temporarily affected by the strike. She refused medical attention and gave Officer Pizanie a description of the attacker. A short time later, Officer Pizanie located a woman matching the description and recognized her as 37-year-old Jessica Rosewall of Hoboken. Rosewall was placed under arrest for aggravated assault and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters for processing before being transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility. #hoboken #bodycam #hitandrun
