A 2020 BMW 330 had hit a parked 2016 Toyota Camry. The Camry then slammed into a 2021 Chevrolet Suburban. The BMW and Toyota were badly damaged. The Chevrolet Suburban also suffered severe damage. Justine, the 28-year-old BMW driver, spoke to police. She claimed a truck ahead drove badly on Burnet Road. This caused her to swerve. She then hit the two parked cars. Officer McDonough soon arrived at the scene. He spoke with Justine and smelled alcohol. He noticed other signs of impairment too. Justine said she drank at a friend's house. Then, she drove her car. Suspecting she was impaired, the officer asked her to do sobriety tests. First, Officer McDonough used the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus test. He watched Justine's eyes. He saw that her eyes did not track smoothly. They twitched at the extreme edge. The twitching started before her eyes reached 45 degrees. Next was the Walk and Turn test. Justine failed to touch heel to toe. She turned the wrong way. Also, she took the wrong number of steps back. Finally, she did the One Leg Stand test. Justine did not lift her foot right. She put her foot down too early. Justine crashed her car. The officer smelled alcohol. She failed the roadside tests. Because of this, they arrested her for drunk driving. Under John’s Law, her car was impounded. It would be held for 12 hours. Officers read her the Standard Statement. Then, Justine agreed to a breath test before going to the patrol car. Officer Kelly arrived and took Justine to the Springfield station with Officer Rossi. The Alcotest at Union Township was broken. Her BAC was 0.16%, twice the legal limit. After processing, they brought Justine back to Union Township. A sober adult signed the Potential Liability Warning. Then, she was released pending her court date. Officer McDonough gave her citations. These included: DUI, reckless driving, careless driving, and lane violations. 0:30 Couldn’t stop my car so I stopped here lol 0:44 Did she just say she stopped here? 3:22 lost track of her car? 4:23 an officer while being completely turned away from him? 4:31 why he put the flashlight there 4:32 officer is a man of the culture. 4:51 so nobody gonna say nothing about the police pointing his light 5:31 she just got smashed 5:32 If your phone buzzed after someone answers your question 10:15 marker and i can tell you by the clear nystagmus in her eyes 13:21 even totally sober, that flashlight being erratically shined 28:03 Officer thought he was slick, I'll take it nice and slow for you? 34:22 LOL 35:25 once you are a liar you lie a lot 39:19 who do you think you are talking to. 39:32 she said to the officer nice to meet you Kelly If you enjoyed this BodyCamBust video.
