On January 23, 2024, the 22-year-old driver of a SUV made a turn directly in front of Jackson Township Police Officer Wiseman. The vehicle also had no taillights. Officer Wiseman initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and the unlicensed woman claimed that she was only going to Walmart to but diapers for her 2-year-old child, who was in the car. Concerned about the woman's driving ability, Officer Wiseman asked her if she had consumed any alcohol, but she stated she had not. She was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests, which led to her being arrested for DUI and child endangerment. The woman was then allowed to use her cell phone in the back of the police car, which led her to calling numerous people to come to pick up her child. Her acquaintances arrived on scene and were able to make physical contact with her and give her advice on how to allegedly beat the breath test. Despite all of their efforts, the woman submitted to an evidential breath test and the result was 0.171% BAC. Her charges and the outcome of her case are discussed at the end of the video.
