Instead of leaving, Sims continued speaking about what he described as a “manifestation.” After several more comments, the officer stood up, walked into the lobby area, and asked Sims to leave the building. Moments later, a physical altercation broke out. Sims allegedly knocked the officer to the ground and pinned him down until two additional officers rushed in and placed Sims in handcuffs.
