Okay. How do you How do you spell Ashley? >> Sl is w Hey, hold on. This kid was nice. This kid was not yelling to get out the car. >> And what's And what's your birthday again? >> I have 191. >> How old are you? >> 33. >> Okay. >> You doing all right? >> What? >> You doing all right? >> No, I'm really not. >> What's the matter? >> Okay. Well, cuz I hang out with dumbass people. Okay. Um >> Okay. So, what's the matter today? >> Why aren't you doing okay? I just see you wobbing bobbing back and forth. What's the matter? >> Because I'm um >> Hi. >> No. Cuz I put myself in these up situations with these people. Okay. >> That shouldn't be around to begin with. >> You don't need medical attention for anything. >> No, but got warranted for that second. >> Oh, cool. Nice. >> And then I want to say the kid in the back of PCEL's car is that Venoski kid. >> Is he not giving his name? >> No, he gave a fake. >> His name comes back to a black guy with grays. >> Oh, nice. Good, good, good. >> Got your stats for today? >> This is my first stop. >> I figured. leaving the fuel island. >> What's that? >> Were you leaving the fuel island? >> I was leaving the traffic cut and they were uh at Southeast 14th and um Mari right there. >> Yeah, I left my uh >> So, I'm Can I be honest with you? >> Of course. >> Okay. So, um obviously >> here, let me I'm just going to read you your rights that way. So, you have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law if you wish. And you can decide at any time to exercise these rights and not answer any questions or make any statements. Cool. Yes. >> All right. What were you about to say? >> Okay. So, I was I didn't stop honestly because um I have a warrant, >> right? >> Okay. Um so, there's that. Um my mom kicked me out of her house a couple days ago. >> Okay. >> Um so, I'm over at someone's house, which should never been at. Um so, you know, the shooting, I guess, or something that happened at this park. Okay. So, I'm friends with like Nikki. I've been friends with her for a long time. >> Which park? Um the park over like Southeast or something like that. >> You got information about it or what? >> I mean yeah. >> Let me see if uh detectives need to >> So like I said whole time um they asked me to get this kid a ride. I don't even know this kid. Okay. And I'm like >> this kid that was in the passenger seat. >> I don't even know this kid's name. So he asked me to give a ride home and like when we're driving I'm like it's kind of crazy how every time like I have to be one to do this [ __ ] right so Nikki >> 96 >> I feel like I just kind of got set up to be real I'll tell you guys everything you want to know for real >> no I'm serious at this point so the cops came to the uh the her house I guess yesterday or something to talk to these boys he was one of the ones involved >> did they talk to him >> they talked to the detective >> yeah Um they ain't I mean they ain't tell the truth. So um I'm not sure exactly how much they talked to him, but what I do know is um they have surveillance and everything else like the shooting. I mean one second here. Hey Austin, do you know anything about a shooting like Southeast Fifth and Park over there? just claiming that he was one of them and detectives are looking for him or anything. I didn't know if you were aware. >> Uh, let me let me look. >> Have you figured out his name yet? >> No. >> I haven't dug too deep into it, but she's claiming uh is there a shooting like Southeast Fifth and a park down on the south side on Southeast Fifth? >> When I'm not 100% sure. Well, she's claiming that he was part of it. That's why he's not his name. I guess I'm looking for him for him. I didn't know if you were aware. >> Yeah, something's something weird is going on. So, um have we looked over there to see if they So, uh this this kid gives me the name Keegan Carney. I look up Keegan Carney. Nothing. He doesn't know his social. Doesn't know doesn't know anything. Uh When I look up Keegan Carney, Mohamad Ishag's picture shows up. Mohamad Ishag, I'm sure you know the name has been involved in all sorts of [ __ ] And if he runs with Muhammad Ishag, then yeah, that might be true. Um, but I think Muhamad, one of them is lying. The Honda went to jail with like a possession of alcohol charge in January and used his name and they booked him because they're like, "Oh, it's possession." So, they booked Muhammad Ishag under Keegan, Keegan Carney, which is the name he's come back and then he's he's giving Mohamad Ishag's address for his address. So, something sketch is going on. >> Gotcha. McCormack wanted you to your vehicle in front of the car. All right. So, >> we can get we can actually get Crow started if we want. Unless we want to look. >> I don't know if you need that. The video doesn't >> all you see is the bumper kind of come in frame. That's But if you have any questions. >> Okay. Thanks. Um, no. >> So, this phone was sitting over there. >> Oh, yeah. That's hers. >> Okay. >> She was on it. It was on uh GPS. She had maps pulled up. >> Okay. >> Um I don't see anything else over there, but those guys just came out and threw a bunch of stuff in the dumpster. So, >> they they take off on foot when you guys crashed out. >> Yeah. >> They both ran like right behind that bus. Then they gave up right away. >> I can't believe they got out of that car that fast. >> Yeah. >> After this. Um, so you don't know whose car this is? >> I It's um Mickey's um son Brewers. >> Okay. >> The one that's >> Gotcha. Is there anything in there that we should know about? >> Listen, I don't know. I have no idea, but um I'm going to tell you what I was told. Okay. Um that there um I don't know that uh the gun I guess was used or whatever. Okay. Um I I mean I'll call Nikki and Doug and whoever that lives at Nikki and I'm going to tell her son. Okay. >> Is that her son? >> That's her son. No, that's one of her son's friends. >> Oh god. >> That was involved in that whole thing, right? >> Yeah. >> So they're >> Southeast Fifth and what? >> Um she lives out Southeast Second. Um that little park right there on Indiana. >> Oh, like Southeast yesterday. I asked her about it. >> Do you know what detective? >> I I have no idea. I wasn't there. She took off when you guys came. And be honest with you, I'm on the run. Okay. >> Yeah. >> Okay. I'm I'm going to come talk to you here in a sec. Okay. Um I do have your phone. Okay. Just so you know. >> That's his phone. >> That's his phone. >> Yeah. >> Got still doing okay. >> Yeah. >> All right. Thanks for being patient. Um so obviously when I round to this corner, I saw you running up that way. Obviously, he was already up ahead of you. Did you see him dump anything? >> Listen, I don't know. I didn't see him dump nothing. >> What's that? >> I didn't see him dump nothing at all. >> But what I'm telling you is that um I >> you know do you know his name? >> I don't know him at all. >> Okay. >> Listen, that's the thing. I felt like I was just set up, okay? Because I guess I'm a I should have went home to my kid. So, I went on the run, okay? Got kicked out of treatment. Um started my life off. My mom kicked me out of her house a couple days ago. Um, so I go hang out with these rooms. >> Mhm. >> And um, when I really like [ __ ] kid, I don't know his name. All I know is a the kid's name who supposedly the car isn't, which obviously is Blake, his buddy. >> Mhm. >> Mickey Muso Baker and uh, you know what I'm talking about, son. >> Okay. So I'm like I wake up and I'm like this kid asked me to give him a ride and I felt like something was weird anyway but I So I'm like okay where do you need a ride to? And all of a sudden he's stays eight blocks and then he sees you I see you and I'm like he starts panicking. So I'm like well what the am I going to it's going to be awesome. I'm like what am I going to stop for? Right? >> Because what he was panicking, >> right? >> And the worst case scenario, I mean, I thought, "Okay, so guess what? I'm I'm going to go back to warrant. I got my warrant >> with no plates on a car." Okay. >> No, that that is no big deal really. But um >> she have a phone on her. >> I don't have no phone at all. >> Phone. Um >> he's supposed to have a phone in there. We can't find it. >> Yeah. There's nothing in that car working out. >> Yeah, there's a a live route underneath the >> back seat. >> Caleb's doubling back. See if they toss in the chase. >> I'm curious. >> Yes, sir. >> Hey, buddy. Yeah. >> Um, when they went to East 18th, did they go up redhead where it's diagonal or did they go straight to East 18th? >> They they went straight to they ran through that red at Red or the stop sign at Redhead. She's been super cooperative about everything. She's like, "I'll tell you anything you want to know." And she said that she didn't see anything. >> I don't think he had anything. Yeah, he but there was apparently there was live rounds in the car. >> So who has control of the vehicle? Was it her? >> She was driving. >> But she doesn't know the owner or anything else. She was just taking his word that it's >> friend of a friend's mom >> as far as I'm concerned. Yeah. >> Okay. >> Pretty probable here. I'm going to have more questions for you and I understand you're not comfortable right now. And I also understand uh that I have your cell phone. Okay. So, my desk number is on the bottom of that card along with an email address. I think we're good to go here. All right. I'll be in touch. >> Do you want that car for any specific reason? >> No, I don't think that one's involved at all. Kind of. Let's go. Everything he's saying, like he's even saying he was going to bail out cuz he's scared to death cuz he only knows this girl is just some tweaker that was at the house he woke up at this morning. And that kind of tracks with your traffic that the passenger is going to bail. >> Yeah. >> Um, do you want to talk to her at all? She's she said that this is Blake's mom's car or something. >> Yeah. Okay. She has seen that >> at least some information that might be worthy. It's interesting. >> Please call my >> Hi, ma'am. >> Hi, I'm Detective Police Department. Said a few questions, I guess, about what all went on here today. So, the gun was in the car to begin with. Okay. >> Today, >> not not today. >> Okay. >> Up until uh he supposedly got his backpack out of the car. >> And then in this red car >> in that red car. Yep. In that Grand Prix. >> When did he get his bag out? >> Supposedly today. That's what his sister and everybody tells me. I'm like, "So, I'm going to drive this car cuz I don't really care about going to jail, but if I'm I'm not going to drive around in the car with nothing, okay?" >> Mhm. >> And so, I asked I guess I really don't know the [ __ ] real deal of the story, but I do know what I know. And um it's shady. And I don't know whose car it is, who's >> it's a real gun. >> Um it's a real gun. It was some kid shot up in a park the other day. >> Okay. You guys been investigating him for for I mean so I assume to be a real guy. >> Give me one second here. >> As far as old boy up there, um have interference if you want it cuz he ran off from the vehicle. >> You can sure if you want you can sure charge him with it. >> Do you want you want to use that as leverage or anything? >> Yeah. Yeah. I mean it's not going to hurt. If he's not an innocent angel saying like he was that he's just trying to get out of the car, then yeah, I'd charge him with it. Okay. >> Okay. I don't I don't think we have any victims here currently. So, >> uh well, somebody called in and said that they were hit by >> Sure. Sure. I didn't see >> what I mean is in the car. I don't I don't think anybody's absolved of sin from what happened >> here. And if he ran from the car, then I'd say charge him. >> Okay. >> As far as I know, you're not getting in trouble for anything other than your driving today and your warrants. >> Did they check the trunk? Yeah, >> we're about to. >> Okay. >> Nobody said anything about a trunk until >> Okay. Okay. Well, guess >> that's the first I heard of it. >> Mhm. >> Okay. Well, maybe you might want to or maybe So, last I heard under Miranda in this truck. >> Okay. What? >> There's a backpack in the truck because they didn't have >> There's a backpack in the trunk. >> That back. She's She's saying the backpack's in the trunk. >> Of that car. Okay. Ashley, before I go through your purse, is there anything in there you're not supposed to have? >> There's a meth pipe. >> Okay. Is there anything that's going to stick me, poke me, hurt me? >> No. >> Didn't I just ask you if there's anything that's going to stick me, poke me, or hurt me in here? >> There's no need. >> Yeah, there are. >> There's a pipe in my purse. >> There's a needles in there, too. >> 29. >> Look at my arms. They were both then transported to the Poke County Jail where the woman was charged with eluding interference with official acts and possession of drug paraphernalia. The passenger was charged with interference with official acts and possessions of psilocybin mushrooms that were found in his back packet during a search. The passenger has no record of a shooting on his record, indicating that he was most likely not the shooter that the woman claimed he was.
