I can't even live my life in peace. I can't even shop in the store Blue Air because I'm being discriminated again. Why'd you run? I don't have a purse or anything and I'm being accused of shoplifting because I want to shop at Sports Authority. This is ridiculous. I can't even shop in this place without police being called on me for shoplifting. This is ridiculous because I'm a transgender. Put your feet in. I don't bother anybody. Y'all got to have some respect in the quality to chase me around for shoplifting and I don't even have a purse. This is ridiculous. Is that him? Yeah, I think it's that one they're pulling over. So, Captain Rafterd called in. Said they were filling up a cart real quick and it looked like they were about to go through the point of sale and I don't know if they saw him. Went back around. I was just going to borrow them. Yeah, so they they never left the store. Right. Well, I talked to the dude. The the bald dude with the beard. They're like, "We don't need to borrow or anything. We just I.D. her and she is and she can go." So, we're in the middle of I.D.ing her and she yanks out of his hand and she bolts. Yeah, I didn't even hear y'all getting in a foot chase, man. I just heard 10-30. I wasn't even running. I saw y'all running across the street. I was like, Yeah, all right. So, um what's going to go in there and go in there and see what they got. to do. We'll drive her back over there. If y'all want to charge her with obstruction Sure. We'll see what's Yeah. Otherwise ID her and let her go, but it's up to y'all, man. All right, listen. This is ridiculous. I haven't touched anything. I HAVEN'T PURCHASED ANYTHING. LISTEN TO ME. I'M GETTING MY LAWYER. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. ARE YOU GOING TO LISTEN TO ME? I HAVEN'T STOLE ANYTHING. OKAY, WELL, ARE YOU GOING TO LISTEN TO ME? I DIDN'T STEAL ANYTHING. YOU OWE ME A BUNCH OF STRESS. I'M TRYING TO TALK TO YOU. I GO TO THE STORE THIS HAPPENS. I THINK HER SHOES are somewhere in the road. She smacked my arm pretty good. Oh, damn. Those bushes almost got me. I'm going to get my lawyer. ARE YOU DONE? I HAVEN'T TOUCHED ANYTHING. WELL, CAN I TALK? CAN I explain something to you? If that's okay? This store WAS ABOUT TO CLOSE. I WAS PUTTING ALL MY STUFF BACK. LISTEN, LISTEN, LISTEN. SO, we get called because they're saying that y'all are sticking a bunch of stuff in carts. No, they didn't see me putting all my stuff back. They called me Can I finish? I would NEVER SHOPLIFT. I LIVE HERE. OKAY, WELL, can I finish? So, their intention was to ID you and then you'd be free to go. So, they're in the From my understanding, they're in the process of identifying you when you took off running. There was no intention to arrest you for shoplifting. I BEING QUESTIONED FOR SHOPPING? BECAUSE they wanted to ID you to potentially bar you if you were shoplifting. But, look, people do that all the time. They always put stuff in the cart and then run out. It's not discrimination. It's not discrimination. Okay. But, listen, why did you run? Oh, yeah. Now, we got to find her shoes. Good. How are you? We're good. Oh, just lovely shoplifters. Oh. Be safe. I don't where her shoes went. BECAUSE I SHOULDN'T BE QUESTIONED ABOUT ANYTHING IF MY LAWYER IS NOT PRESENT. I HAVE NOT STOLEN ANYTHING. I HAVE NOT stolen identify you when they request to bar you. me. I'm a transgender. SO, THAT'S IDENTIFICATION RIGHT THERE. THEY DON'T LIKE IT. THAT is That's not identification. IN THE STORE THIS HAPPENS. we're going to drive you back over to Academy, okay? anything. back to Academy, okay? Yeah. All right, what's up? Eventful? I was too far away. That's going to be my excuse. your excuse? Oh, you got her shoes, though. Yeah, she left her shoes right there. Yeah. I'm going to go talk to them in front. This is ridiculous. I can't even go out and shop in peace. All my nieces and my nephews. They're going to be at THE SCHOOL JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER CHILDREN. This is ridiculous. I DON'T HAVE A JOB. I LIVE AT HOME. I HAVE MONEY. I WORK. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. I can't believe this. Who's going to pay for this marriage? THEY WANT TO MAKE A LAUGHING STOCK OUT OF ME BECAUSE I'M I'M A SEXY YEAH, we're going to go figure out exactly I saw I saw her doing that. She didn't They didn't actually She She was filling up a buggy and she went to run out. Yeah. Um Well, I was standing there talking to loss prevention agent when she tried to push past her. Loss prevention agent did really good, said no, you got to go through the line against the carts. They did it to her That's what y'all did for me the other day over the phone. Oh, yeah, that was me. Yeah. That was someone else. The guy that I had y'all bar the other day he came back already. I almost I turned around yesterday afternoon and made it back. He saw me in my car and took off. Yeah. Um as far as I know she didn't steal anything, but her accomplice the partner here in the white Expedition he stole a drink. Uh they're out with him over there. Good. Stole a drink. So, I think that's all that they got. Yeah. They had They had two buggies full loaded up to Ready to go? Yeah. There's her shoes. She's fast, wasn't she? She is. Yeah. Unfair advantage. Uh so, you don't want to press charges for that mail fraud thing? No, but I want them both charged. This is ridiculous. All right, be right back. You can hang out with her. Ma'am, take a couple of deep breaths. What do you want to want to do with her? Uh that's That's a misdemeanor. Yeah. I want to push that. That's 2 years trespass, right? Yeah, that's right. 2 minutes 2 years is the max. This is uh I guess they're about to make out with a couple buggies. Yep. So, do you want to come borrow the the female one? Absolutely. Do we have positively identify her? Uh 2 years trespass. All right. Let's make sure it's her first. I have not taken anything. I'M IN THE BACK OF A BODY OF CORPORATE AND I HAVE NOT TAKEN WE'RE NOT saying that you took something. They were questioning you and you ran. Then why WERE THEY QUESTIONING ME? THEY DON'T QUESTION ANYBODY ELSE THAT HAVE A BUGGY FULL OF STUFF. BECAUSE I'M BLACK? BECAUSE I'M A TRANSGENDER? AND I HAVE NOT TOUCHED ANYTHING. THEY LET ME WALK OUT OF THAT DOOR WITH ME WITHOUT BEING PAID FOR. I walked OUT OF THAT DOOR ALONE BECAUSE THEY SAID IT WAS GOING TO CLOSE. AND I'M getting arrested and questioned because I want to shop. This is ridiculous. They don't bother anybody. You know, I'm being embarrassed in front of a bunch of people in my city because THEY THINK I'M SHOPLIFTING. I COME HERE ALL THE TIME. All the time. Who's that with them over Is that Is that your sergeant Is it 20? All these bodies for no reason. You're a Hershey bar. Yeah. I'll get the mail bar. And then we bar. Hey, hey, hey sergeant. I got the manager here. He wants to borrow the mail in the truck that you're out with. I just told me to bar for 32 years. You are hereby tres- trespass. Please don't come back for the next 2 years. Yes, sir. I promise that I will not. Thank you. Uh-huh. One sec. Hey sergeant, did you already put him in the call? Okay. All right, then he's good to go. And we're still working on identifying this uh person. What's your name? Johnny my name. Johnny? I'm transgender. Well, what used to be your name? Oh, never mind. Johnny? Johnny. I'm called the transgender now, man. That's fine. Is that on your ID? I don't have anything. When's your birthday? What year? 1995 4 How do you spell Johnny? Dude, there was anything. Oh, yeah. I'm just going to make sure that's the right person. Is that No. Exactly. Right there? Yeah, we'll go around the other side. Now I'll get your information. You can go back to get clothes and You're being trespassed. You can't come back for 2 years. I have not stole anything. I have never stole out of here. I live in this city. I shop here all the time. Thank you. I have never stole anything out of here. I'm sorry. I shop here often. If you come back, you're going to go jail. A bunch of white people shopping here. I can't shop in here. I never saw anything. They saw her shopping here all the time. On a Friday night before I go to work. We're shopping here and I got a job. I'm not getting a return for this. Or for Shanice or Dispatch has something He said Johnny. No record of Johnny. Mhm. All right. About 20 That is 27. No. Or her. Fan Johnny. Male. Which one? But we're the different birthday than that. I don't know. We need to figure out who you are. Hey sir, can I just get your ID? For the barn. Thank you so much, miss. You have a good evening. Yeah. I appreciate it. Hey, thank y'all. Really appreciate it. Yep. I'm not getting a return for Johnny. And you told them Shanice. So which one is it? You're not under arrest. We just need to bar you. I told you my name is Johnny. My name is Johnny. My name is Johnny. You told them Shanice. 96. Look at what this phone is telling you now. You can't change your birthday. I can't change it if I'm BEING QUESTIONED FOR NO REASON. I HAVE NOT TOUCHED ANYTHING OUT OF HERE. LOOK, right now you're not going to jail. But if we cannot If we can't identify you, I'm taking you to jail. So So which one is it going to be? I told YOU WHAT IT WAS. HEY, we're taking her for obstruction or what? I don't know. Is that Was that her name? No, we're still trying to figure that out because we're not getting a return on what she gave us. I don't know if that's her driver's license name or if that's just the one she goes by. We don't have a return for that. So I need your real name. That is my real name. What's your real birthday? 1994. Look, my patience is thin. Please, I have not touched anything. Look. I came to shop before. That's what I'm saying. You're not going to jail for shoplifting cuz you didn't shoplift. But if we can't get a return for the barring, then we're going to have to go to jail. Okay. Thank you. I understand that. There we go. I'm not a homeless. I work. I go to school. God, ain't trying to What's the middle name? What's your middle name? Sorry. So she's saying she's a transgender. Yeah. Her name's Johnny. 93. So I got a return for that. Yeah. So she's going over her assumed name, not her legal name. That's an assumption. All right. So you actually got the return now? Yeah. They were about to shoplift two full carts. She She was pretty fast, dude. At first, I was like catching up and I was like, "Oh man, this ain't I shop here I shop here every weekend. Well, you've been barred, so you cannot come back here for 2 years. We gave the kids a show. Oh yeah, they were like, "Yeah, let's go." I was I was about ready to pay you, but I was like the whole way we got called here. If it was like Franco or somebody, it would have been like no big deal, but took off after you, I was like, "Well, Did you get your car?" No, I I was like, "Well, I guess I better help." I I thought I thought you were like still up No, I was right behind you. I kind of figured she was cuz I kept telling her stand right there and she kept moving. Yeah, so I know. If I knew that It's a really stupid thing to run for. You got to do some more cardio. I tell myself all the time, dude, but it never happens. I know. Every opportunity I get it. She was all sweaty on the ground and I just sweat right off. It's why I do 20 minutes on the treadmill every time I go to the gym. I just need to start doing sprints cuz if I can catch them in the first 100 yards, man, I don't need to run 2 miles every day. All these people they'll just they'll take off and use everything they got. All you got to do is outlast them. Maintain visual and everyone else will get there, dude. You ever see those videos of the guys in Africa who run like 80 miles behind like a wildebeest? And then they just they just jog behind them and they just outpace them and eventually the thing just falls down from exhaustion and they just spear it walk off. That's awesome. Or waiting on getting a return for the female identifies as a female. No, this is skinny. This is a transgender so they gave their assumed name and then they just gave us their real legal name. Yeah. I can't believe they called us and all this is going on with with this situation. So Radford called it in and he said like he saw them push about loading up carts again about trying to go out the door and they stopped them and they went back around when she came out. I stopped her and kept us told her to stand right there and we kind of and then started to shoot. I don't know. Is this is it the same girl? It's got to be. Is it? I mean she's like she's skinny in the back. Like real tall and skinny. If it's the same as the culprit last time, I don't think it is. Well, the last one No, it's not the it's not the same one. No, it's definitely not the same person. He took off those flip flops and we went to run and jump across the went across the road and gave up when he rolled up. You're not being arrested, but before we can let you go, we got to make sure we're barring the right person. Right, I know. I know. I'm just waiting for a picture. And then once we get that and we confirm it's you, you'll be good to go. No, cuz they didn't go past the point of sale or whatever with it. They didn't make it out of the store. All you needed was the ID, so they could just do the barring. They just Well, what what concerns me is that I'm okay now that Rafter was the one calling it in. Yeah. They would have called us. Academy would have called us and they didn't want to press charges. Well, we're going to cuz after all that going to press charges and we'll just subpoena them as witnesses. They don't have to be the prosecution. We can be the prosecution with all that with all that with all that running and all that other stuff. Because that's just Yeah, that's just stupid. You want to call us and then we respond and you got to pay Here's the picture of the person. Next time don't run. Wait. Especially if you didn't do anything wrong. Yay. Dispatch has been updated. That used to be you. Yeah. And I guess He's over there. Nope, it's not. Yes, that is. She was pretty fast. They Yeah. Whatever. Fast. Yeah. Let me just ask you since you're here. I'll ask both of you, I guess. So Just so I'm clear, which name do you prefer me to call you? China? Is that right? Correct. Okay, it's China. So, after speaking with uh our supervisors, you are going to go to jail for obstruction this afternoon. Okay? It's a couple of misdemeanor charges. You actually did obstruct. You're not going for shoplifting, you're going for obstruction. Officers were in the middle of an investigation and you ran from them. That is obstruction. That is the literal definition of obstruction. They were not going to hurt you. All you had to do was stand by. Listen, all right, look. We're not questioning you, but when we get called for a call for service All right. All right, you don't mind transporting? All right, you don't mind transporting? No, I don't know what you're talking about. I'll do I'll do everything else. So, John Doe for right now, I guess. I've never done it that way. Yeah, we're literally just going to name her John Doe. And then charge and I'll tell her when we get there that we need to identify. Okay. If you need anything, just let me know. Okay. Thanks. 9600 block. Starting my watch 88656. You're not going for shoplifting. Unfortunately, it was not my call. I'm just transporting. You should be out in an hour. I got one person. Is it male or female? Uh female. Thanks, good song, too. All of them are. Pretty, pretty, please. Will you ever ever feel Ma'am. Come on, let's go. Are you ready? I got your shoes. You ready? Faster we get in there, faster you can get out. You're not going to be in here long. They just need pretty much booking. Come on, make this easy. Do you want me to assist you? Nah, she'll get out in a minute. Okay. Come on, don't make us call for assistance. Just come on. You want to do it on your own? I want to drop out of here anyway. Come on. You already did that. I don't want to be in here. What is that for? Obstruction. What is that? So, basically it's when you hinder law enforcement from being able to investigate crime allegations. Mhm. So, that being said, um Academy believed you were shoplifting, but did not confirm. So, they just wanted to identify to figure out what you were doing, and then that was going to be that. But then, in the middle of it, before we could positively identify you, you ran away. So, if you just stayed and we figured out that she were not shoplifting, we would have left. So, I know social media paints such a bad picture on us, but if you just if you didn't do anything wrong, you have nothing to worry about. Don't run. They locked the door and wouldn't let her out of here. Huh? Cuz they locked the door and wouldn't let her out of here. She has items on her and he took her purse. We can get your purse back. I did not admit to that. It doesn't matter. It's all good. It's a different story. I'm getting arrested for obstruction. I'm running cuz they think that my purse is in trouble. I locked the door when you had me in here. At this point, I'm getting charged with with shoplifting cuz you didn't shoplift. It doesn't matter. I'm still being charged. Cuz I don't have anything on me. They tried to lock me inside the store. Somebody was with me. They got scared and left me in my own vehicle. If that's the problem, I don't have anything. If you want, we can get you your purse back. It doesn't matter. My nephew was with me. He's on the other side of the street. He can drive my vehicle away from the store. That don't work. You think that could have tricked me? What's my name? What's my name? I'm giving them my name already. Give me the phone. I mean, I don't know her name out here. I don't know her name out here. Who has him? What's my name? What? So, basically, I'll explain. Uh she said she used to be Johnny's Johnny Gave us a birthday. Um the height and weight doesn't match. The height says 5'4". She's clearly not 5'4". The picture could potentially, but I'm not sure. Both female names she gave were did not come back with anything, so I don't know who they are, who she is. Okay. Well, give the give the boy No, I'm going to search him in the chamber. Okay. I got to agree. I got to get it together. Search the male. No, you're not going to touch me. I'm not going to search you. I said I'm getting a male to And I have to get a male to search me in the chamber. No male has to search my body in the chamber. And the gloves are a victim. Gloves are a victim. Could you please 27 11 of the NCIC? That's a problem. I needed a woman. Search me in the chamber. No male has to search my body in the chamber in real life. And if y'all don't want me to talk on the video get the phone out. Wow. I'm not even on the list for no reason. Wow, you can't talk on the Because no male has to touch me. No male has to ever search me in any other way. I'm going to have to get started while I'm here. If you put your hands on me, it's going to be another charge for you. Okay. You don't want to get your name taken in the chamber. I don't have to worry. That was my other thing. Come come this way. You got to get it out. Thank you.
