LMPD officer Brandon Brinkley was handling a minor collision when an offduty LMPD officer requested immediate assistance for a Kentucky State Police trooper at New Cut Road and Outer Loop. When Officer Brinkley arrived, he learned the trooper had just pursued a vehicle that crashed in the intersection. The driver had already been detained, but an armed passenger had fled toward the nearby Pedler's Mall in Walmart. The suspect was described as a male wearing an orange shirt. GET OUT OF THE CAR.
