On the morning of July 22nd, 2023, Montgomery County police officers were dispatched after multiple 911 calls reported several victims suffering from stab wounds in the area of Vayers Mill Road and Kohley Drive. Stand right there. >> Get a med kit. Despite repeated commands to drop the weapon, Castro Ordinez advanced toward the officer while armed with a knife. Officer Lee fired multiple shots, striking the suspect. Police immediately rendered aid until medics arrived, but the suspect was later pronounced dead at the scene. All victims received medical attention with three transported to local hospitals and one treated at the scene.
