so I want to I'm going to run you
through a couple of tests okay just to
make sure that you're okay to drive and
as long as everything turns out okay the
tests go okay I'll I'll get you on your
way okay that's cool okay um if you just
want to go ahead and just set your stuff
down on the ground just so you don't
have anything in your
hands there you go hey
Lipsy Lipsy you able to come over
here you able to come over
here y it is it is yeah I'm just going
to have my partner over here okay so
like I said I'm going to run you through
some tests just to make sure you're okay
to drive okay you don't have any
injuries to your head any any issues
with your lower back knees hips anything
like that no no no no okay what I want
you to do for me is just stand with your
feet together arms down at your sides
okay mhm okay I see you don't have any
glasses on do you want any contacts no
you don't
okay can you clearly see the tip of my
finger yes okay what I want you to do is
using your eyes and your eyes only I
want you to follow tip my finger do you
understand
yes don't move your head we try again
okay make sure you're folling with your
eyes
okay where' you say you coming
from from Memphis from Memphis yes okay
all right remember if I tip my finger
using your eyes and your eyes only
okay don't move your head try again
okay you can go and take a second and
relax the next test we're going to do is
called the walk and turn test I see cold
okay I know I see you're wearing sandals
yes are you comfortable in those shoes
M okay y do you think would you like to
perform the test in those shoes no
that's cool I go I could do with the the
shoes on okay all right what I want you
to do feet together arms down at your
sides just like I'm doing now okay let's
say that we have yep let's say that we
have an imaginary line directly in front
of us okay starting from where your feet
are let's say it we'll go to about where
where I'm standing now okay okay okay
what I want you to do now is I want you
to put your left foot on the start of
the line and take your right foot and
connect it directly in front either heel
the toe fashion just like I'm doing now
can you do that now for
me can you connect your right foot in
front of your left and heel the toe
fashion like
this like I'm I'm doing now
oh okay what I want you to do is using
the imaginary line directly in front of
you I want you to take nine steps in a
heel to toe fashion counting each step
out loud walking down the line I'm going
to demonstrate for you so it should look
something like so one 2 3 I only took
three steps but you'll take nine when
you get to your ninth step using your
back foot taking a series of small steps
you will then turn yourself around and
then take nine more steps down the line
and heal the fashion it should look
something like so one 2 3 4 I only took
four steps but you'll take nine steps
okay okay just a couple reminders Before
I Let You
Begin make sure you're counting each
step out loud make sure you're looking
down at your feet at all times keep your
arms down to your sides and once you
start the test do not stop do you
understand these instructions yes okay
you may begin the
test so cold
okay one
two three
four five six so when do I when am I
able to turn off when once you've taken
nine
steps now do it again yep you'll take 9
steps back 1 2 3 4 5
6 okay perfect you go ahead and turn
around face me the next test we're going
to do is the one leg stand test okay
what I want you to do for me is assume
position again feed feed together arms
down to your sides okay just show me
real fast okay feed together arms down
to your sides for please I'll try to get
the get you through this as best I can
okay what I want you to do pick picking
one foot either foot of you're choosing
you will raise that foot keep the leg
straight approximately 6 in off the
ground okay it should look something
like so while you're like this you will
then count out loud in the following
manner 1,1 10000 what if it's so cold
like can I get a jacket like not right
now I can't it's so okay while you're
like this you will then count out loud
in the following manner 1,1 1,2 13 and
so on until I instruct you to stop do
you understand okay okay just a couple
reminders before we begin this test make
sure you're looking down at the elevated
foot make sure that you're counting out
loud in the prescribed manner keep your
arms down at your sides maintain the leg
is straight and the foot is
approximately 6 in off the ground and
once you start the test do not stop
until I instruct you otherwise do you
understand okay okay give me just a
second
here okay you may
begin so I could just walk
like oh how you wanted me to do it okay
I'll explain it to you again yeah I want
you
to apologize for that keeping your legs
straight you will raise one foot 6 in is
off the ground like so okay you will
then count out loud in the following
manner 1001 1002 1003 and so on until I
instruct you to stop so that's what I'm
saying so do I count from one
two you'll count out lot on the
following matter I told you 1001 1000002
10003 until I tell you to stop do you
understand okay do you understand yes
okay you may
begin uh
100 100 7
500 that's so cold

me all right man there's some stuff I
got to radio okay first thing is your
Miranda Rights okay before we ask you
any questions you must understand your
rights you have the right to remain
silent anything you say can be used
against you in court you have the right
to talk to an attorney for advice before
we ask you any questions and to him him
have him or her with you during
questioning if you cannot afford an
attorney one will be appointed for you
before any questioning if you wish if
you decide to answer questions now
without an attorney present you have the
right to stop answering at any time you
also have the right to stop answering at
any time until you talk to an attorney
further you have the right to have an
attorney present during any question do
you understand your rights as they read
you
okay listen list no the next thing you
have to read you is your waiver of
Rights okay I have read the statement of
my rights and understand what my rights
are I am willing to make a statement and
or answer questions I do not want an
attorney at this time I understand and
know what I am doing no promises or
threats have been made to me and no
pressure or coercion of any kind has
been used against
me okay having your rights in mind do
you wish to answer questions
[Music]
and that can can you read it one more
time for
me yeah okay I have read this statement
of my rights and understand what my
rights are I am willing to make a
statement and or answer questions I do
not want an attorney at this time I
understand and know what I am doing no
promises or threats have been made to me
and no pressure or coercion of any kind
has been used against
me okay I like that I basically real
quick so on the back of this sheet
there's some questions okay okay he's
just saying do you want to answer those
questions or do you not want to answer
those questions completely up to
you do I had to like no it's up it's up
to you it's it's completely up to
[Music]
you and then I never did nothing so say
yeah I'll answer them questions you'll
answer the questions okay 354 thank you
got like a girl

no do you know what time you said you
weren't
drinking you guys have everything yeah
she's
underr go get her right we to go get her

all right
thanks they can't tell my car though
right your car is getting tow why my car
getting
tow I I mean I got I Insurance to why
it's getting
told huh
why is my car getting
to where my car getting
to nobody in that vehicle is a valid
driver other than you so we have to tow
it okay oh oh I see what you say
okay yeah if somebody was filed in the
vehicle in terms of a driver's license
we we could have considered letting
maybe them take the car to the station
to come and get you unfortunately that's
just what we got to do you know so okay
so when that when stuff like that
happens so what I do like so we'll
explain everything to you when uh when
we get to the jail and everything just
cuz there's going to be some stuff that
we got to go through okay um especially
if they're going to come and get you uh
we got to get that going pretty quick so
we'll explain everything just a couple
moments okay we're almost there
okay it's so tired like when we get in
the when we get in the jail I'll I'll
adjust the handcuffs for you okay yeah
it's so tired it hurts so
bad you can put the um pajamas on me the
the jumpsuit yeah like I got to wait
until after if your friends are it looks
like your friends are here so it looks
like that probably will not happen we
just got to get you through all booked
in
process oh no that's fine that that's
fine that's
fine yep we're we're working with you
that's
fine when am I able to leave him back
here it hurt as soon as um my partner
who's work in the jail opens the door
and lets me know it's good to go okay so
it's not like no I mean no way you could
I mean you could take me like to take me
to take the restroom not yet
unfortunately oh my God I got to be so
bad
that's
crazy here I'll do your favor I'll go
take a peek inside and see what he's
doing okay thank you so much I got to
use the restroom St
