for OVI uh operating a vehicle under the
influence of alcohol a drug or a
combination of them operating a vehicle
while under the influence of a listed
controlled substance or listed
metabolite of a controlled substance if
you refuse to take any chemical test
required by law your Ohio driving
privileges will be suspended immediately
and you'll have to pay a fee to have the
Privileges reinstated basically what
that says is if you have you
have more or less applies to Ohio
driving Ohio driving privileges and if
you do take a breath lizer or you don't
take a breath lizer if you don't then
your license in Ohio automatically gets
suspended if you if you get an OVI
they're going to suspend your Ohio
license anyway um so whether or not you
take the breathalizer is up to you um um
it like I said the breath lizer is 100%
up to you either way you get a ticket
for an OVI and for the accident okay um
so if you want to take the breath lizer
we can go do that what would that do for
me um it's it's really up to you it's
just it would it would show your level
of intoxication that's so it's up to you
if you want to go do that or not um
you're I mean I guess not if I'm going
to get the same charges anyways right
that's is that I mean I'm not trying to
be fine shap the the the whole Crux of
it is like if you refuse and your
license is automatically suspended in
Ohio if you take it and you're convicted
later it affects your license so it's
it's honestly it's 100% up to you you do
whatever you think is is best for you so
so if I take it now and I like fail my
license is suspended in Ohio and if I
take it later then what
is well either way your license gets
suspended in Ohio it's just the duration
of the suspension depending on the
circumstances like if you get convicted
or not so like I said it's it's up to
you um if you want to take the breath
lier or not
