We were talking about you asked me what type of woman I like. I said I like Chinese women. >> Okay. >> Yeah. Gorgeous. >> If I could afford one, I I would I would actually have a Chinese woman. If I can afford one. >> Yeah. >> On August 12th, 2025 in Los Angeles, Alexander Lee Rogers was taken into custody and later questioned in connection with the death of Don Peters, who had died as a result of a fatal stabbing at her Long View, Washington home. Spoiler details are in the video description and the full results of all charges in the case are laid out at the end of the video. >> And so kind of where I'm at is is the facts of this case indicate you're not being 100% honest with me. And I don't I want to give you that opportunity to be honest with me. >> One thing that I I I picked up on >> you just talking about your work ethic. you're a gogetter and that you like to work hard and get a task done. >> Guys like that typically want to be thorough, right? Would you disagree with that? >> Thor. >> Thorough. >> Okay. >> Detail oriented. Like you're washing a bunch of dishes. You're going to get the job done perfectly, right? Cuz you're going to disclose >> all of your effort. You're going to put all your effort into a job >> because that's what honest people do, right? Okay. So, [clears throat] here's here's where I'm a little bit confused about your responses is you're telling me that you took a bus down here when I know you didn't take a bus. >> We did a ton of homework, Alex, before we ever got here. >> We know you drove that BMW car down here. >> Okay. Um >> Well, you're fishing and I'm fishing. >> I'm not fishing at all. >> Okay. >> I'm Listen, man. I'm I'm an honest guy and I just say it straight every time. Okay. >> And I'm just seeking truth. I'm not there's no agenda. Um [clears throat] >> there just isn't I think the truth matters. I think lots of people uh including me, everybody does stuff that they uh they regret. And so I'm trying to talk to you and give you that chance to talk to me. >> Okay. >> And u you know I we'll go to the next one. >> Okay. Okay. Um, I know that uh you don't not know where your phone's at. You know what you did with your phone and I know what you did with your phone. >> Okay. What did I do with it? >> You put it in a garbage can in front of McDonald's at Woodland. >> Why did you do that? >> Well, so I usually don't Yes, I did do that. >> Okay, that's I appreciate being straight with me on that. Uh well I really don't normally use it and the battery was going down and I usually cuz the battery when the battery goes down I listen to uh the music that is on the phone itself cuz I go to YouTube music. >> Mhm. [clears throat] So, uh, the battery was going down so much and once the battery goes down, well, in the car, the the lighter didn't work, uh, to charge up my phone or for me to keep on listening to the phone on the speakers. So, there's no way to charge the phone. Yeah. Well, Ty, no. Yeah. And I got rid of a guy. >> [clears throat] >> So, another thing, Alex, is we've we've talked to a lot of people already. Um, talk to some people that you do associate with and they say that you're on that phone quite a bit. So, to me, I find it hard to believe you'd throw that phone away, which you're on quite often according to the people that you associate with because of the the battery's dying too fast. Um, >> who do I associate with? Well, Kenny, Kathy, Ian, Kenny, >> Matt, >> Kenny, Kenny. >> Okay. The the guy I got the the card from. >> Yeah. >> Okay. And who would you say? >> So, >> Matt. >> Yeah. Just keep keep Again, Alex, I'm not trying to play any tricks on you. >> No, but Matt Matt. Yeah. >> Matt. Matt. Matt >> from the store. Oh, that guy. Okay. Yeah. So, Alex, [clears throat] I don't buy that you just tossed it because the the battery's going dead. Um why might you have thrown that phone away? You're a smart guy. Well, to Well, I don't like phone calls. I don't either. That's a well the phone was old anyways. So I mean he's just it I just you know thought it was just it was just a thought just to put in a garbage can. I don't like calling people for I mean it was just a thought of doing it. So, you know, sometimes when people have thoughts of doing something, sometimes I do it, sometimes I don't and they bypass the thought. It was just a thought I did. So, I just toxic. >> There's nothing wrong with throwing the phone away. >> Anybody can throw anything away. >> Sure. >> So, this Let's talk more about the the odd job, the roofing job you did. >> Odd jobs. Okay. >> Yeah. the the specific odd job where my partner was talking about the roofing job that you did for these people on Terimulate. >> Oh, putting tiles on the porch. >> Yeah. >> What other What other sort of work did you do for those folks? [clears throat] >> I uh uh I scraped grass off the park the the whatever it was called, the garage parking lot there, the the driveway. Mhm. Can [clears throat] you describe that house to me? Like what it looks like on the outside, has nice grass, has a place where you can go on the side. A white garage door. Has a Volk uh not running. Oh, might be running a Volkswagen Beetle in the in the driveway. What color is that house? >> Oh crap. >> I can't remember that. >> Is it twotory or one story house? I was talking about the car. >> Yeah, the house I'm talking about. >> The houses are one story. Uh I think all the houses are one stories on that block. I'm not sure. I've seen some two stories uh in Long View and Kelloo, but that house is just one story. What about the people that live there that you did the job for? >> Again, I'm talking people. >> Yeah. Tell me about them. >> I don't know them very well. >> I didn't I'm not saying you know him well, but you know him. >> Hardly. >> Okay. What do you What do you know about them? >> Well, I knew hardly anything about him. like I just said like three times, but uh I uh let's see here. My uh somebody that I know knows of him. >> Mhm. You agreeing with me? >> Yes, I am. >> Okay. Who's that? Who Who knows that I know? >> Well, you said that you know, you know, so I mean >> Yeah, I do. >> Who is it? You're dead. >> Oh, well, not the way he talks. >> Well, I'm asking you like what do you know? Can you tell me what you know of them? >> I don't actually know. >> I'm not asking you if you know their favorite. >> No. >> Music. >> You're asking me a question? I don't know anything about them cuz I really don't know them. >> Okay. Can you describe what what types of people live there? >> Well, they're older. I would assume they're they're older older than me. So [clears throat] example would be Alex, you're a white male in your 50s, right? So that would be me describing a person. Could you describe the people that live in the house? >> Yeah, they're older than me. >> How many How many? >> Yeah. How many? >> I don't know about that. I don't know how many rooms are in the house. I know that they're they're nice people. I mean, they let me they let me do work for them, you know. I mean, but uh I didn't get to know them. But, uh my dad pretty much uh told me that they knew of me when I was younger. I like, okay, I don't know them. >> Sure. >> You never met my dad, have you? >> Yes, I have. What does he look like? >> White guy. Tall. >> No, he's not. Yeah, >> he's not tall. >> I was going to be a short guy. He's tall. >> You haven't seen my dad. >> So, first thing that came out of your mouth that he's tall. He is not tall. >> Okay. >> Not one bit tall. >> You're pretty tall. So, >> that doesn't mean he's tall. >> No. >> He never met my dad then. >> Okay. Talk to your dad multiple times. [clears throat] >> So, >> okay. Well, I'm just questioning you guys question. I'm not trying to be a bad guy. >> No, I don't think you're being a bad guy at all. I think you're not you're not being straight with me. And um I understand why you wouldn't be, but there like I said, Alex, there's value in just telling the truth. >> Yeah. >> And being straight about it, >> you know what I mean? Um you I think that you are that kind of guy that wants to tell the truth. >> If you tell me where my dad lives, I won't believe you. Where does my dad live? My dad My dad's like a quiet guy, too. >> Sure. >> Your dad lives in Kel. >> Where? >> You know where your dad lives? >> What do I do? I'm asking you, though. >> I'm I came here to talk to you about what we're here to talk about. You know what I mean? So, I'm here and I want to talk to you. I want to get your side of the story. >> Okay. >> All right. >> Yes. Yes. Yes. What were you doing at the house on Terumi Ling on the 5th, the day that you left? August 5th, the day that you left and you hit the road to come here. >> I visited them. >> Okay. >> Because check for our job. >> A fraud job. >> Odd job. Work. Work. Yes. >> Okay. Uh I I went there and uh knocked on the door since uh she's seen me a couple times. She knows of me regardless cuz my she knows she knows my dad and went there to ask for odd job and just uh went there asked for a job for for a little bit. talked about Trump and then uh watched a little bit of TV. I was just standing there. But uh after a bit uh Don said that she didn't have an odd job for me, you know. So I said, "Okay, I'll I'll come back later." And uh I went to my car. Not my car, but that black car and left. That's a If I can't handle out a job, I'm just going to go somewhere else. And there's places in town that's look for odd job. I just got sometimes nowhere. But I mean, that's that's all. I stayed there for a little bit and not less. Okay. Yeah. >> [clears throat] >> Alex, you know that there's we're living in 2025 and there is there is cameras everywhere. Okay. >> Want you're aware of that? Yes. >> Okay. You have you ever heard of DNA? >> DNA. >> DNA. >> Oh, DNA. >> DNA. >> Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You understand that when people go somewhere and they do something or they let's just say for example you're sitting in that chair. Your DNA is going to be on that chair. My DNA is on this chair. Okay. Is there any reason that people would have told us that that's not all that happened when you went there that day? >> Oh, it's a restroom. >> Okay. I just got peed. I washed my hands. Was there a confrontation? >> A confrontation? >> Yes. >> No, I haven't had a confrontation no with nobody a long time. >> Okay. >> Confrontation? Yeah. Alex, I want you to be straight with me, man. And you're not. I'm asking you to be straight with me. You know, you're not telling me everything that happened there. There's more to the story. I'm asking you to tell me that >> a story. What? What story? I mean, >> there's no story. That's probably a bad way to put it. You're not being straight with me about what happened that day you went there on August 5th before you came to California. >> I went there to go check for an odd job. >> I believe you about that. But you got to tell me everything that happened after that. I said goodbyes and I went to the car and started the car in the left. I mean, I really don't know what else you want to say. I There was a old old man there called grandpa. I mean, you're not my grandpa, but Well, you're talking about DNA. Yeah, I was there. My DNA probably would have been there. Yeah, I was walking around in there. I use the restroom. I use a toilet. My DNA was there. Of course. >> Okay. >> Anytime you touch something or do something or whatever, you leave something. >> Mhm. >> Okay. >> That's true. >> So, I'll I'll tell you, and I don't normally do this, but we know where you went after you left that day. And when you told me you don't have an email, that's also not true. >> An email? >> You do? >> You said a Facebook? I do have an email. >> Okay. What's your email? >> Alexander Rogers 815gmail.com. >> Okay. Actually, somebody actually gave me somebody actually gave me that email cuz I didn't know what email how how to do the email. So, somebody actually helped me with that email and put it in my phone. So that was that was my email for a long period of time and I got used to it. When somebody asked me my email, I actually write down a heart. >> Okay. So you you remember that that email quite well. >> Of course, everybody everybody has to have an an email, don't they? As long as I have a phone. >> No. No. I mean I I guess these days most of the time would have it. Um, so often times in our unit, what we do is we write warrants. We write a lot of warrants. >> Okay, >> you're aware of what warrants are. Sometimes those warrants are into cell phones. Sometimes they're into Gmail accounts or email accounts. Um, and when we get into that information, often times we find evidence of crimes. Okay. [clears throat] So, I'll tell you what I do know. I know you were at Terumi Lane on August 5th. Okay. I know you left that house in your black BMW car at 11:55. >> It's not my car though. >> The car you're driving. >> Okay. >> I know you went to Woodland, Washington right after that. You got gas. Then I know you went to McDonald's and you walked to the front of the store and you took your phone out. You put it in the garbage can. Well, I went back and I got your phone and I have it. >> Okay. >> Okay. It's a Vortex ZG65 Pro through T-Mobile. from T-Mobile. Yeah. Yeah, that's correct. Okay. And I know you went to Richfield 7-Eleven after that. I know you spent roughly $20 at the 7-Eleven. You bought some sandwiches and several drinks. >> Yeah. Yeah, you have to. You know, I'm hungry. I had food samples, of course. >> Alex, and then I know you came here and I know that you didn't leave your phone at the garbage can cuz you're tired of the battery and you're tired of phone calls. I'm asking you to be straight with me. >> Okay. >> Oh, yeah. You know, I need all that now. >> I do know. Um and we know a lot more, too. And this is what I'm trying to talk to you, man, and get your side of the story. I'm trying to understand why you did what you did that day. >> What did I do? >> Okay. Why are you here? You know what you were told by LAPD, right? >> I was I have a warrant for murder. Yes, that's what they told me. >> So, there should be no confusion. >> Yes, there is. >> Okay. What are you confused about? >> Me having a warrant for my murder for a murder. >> Okay. Well, that house had several people that were hurt. Okay. And there are witnesses to what happened there. Okay. And you came up in that. >> Go ahead. >> There were people hurt. >> Okay. >> There's one dead. Your name came up in this investigation. There are witnesses to this. There is a camera across the the uh directly across the house. Okay. And a 911 call that oddly comes out. Right as you're leaving, why would we find bloody clothes in your car? >> Bloody clothes in my car. >> Correct. >> One thing. Well, it's the car I was driving for one, but it's not my car. It's not my >> I'm not asking about the car. I'm asking why we find blood on clothes in your car and the whole picture of this investigation and you being named as the suspect. >> I know. That's That's what I've been told. >> Okay. I'm asking you what you know, Alex. I'm asking just for the truth, man. That's it. I'm asking for the truth. And once we get past that, we can talk about why it happened. But I don't think you're a bad guy. I think you you're a hard worker. You're honest. I think you're in a a tough spot right now. And you don't want to be in it. But you're not telling me the truth. And there is plenty of evidence. Well, people do keep clothing in their cars and sometimes, you know, they work at spots, you know, that they get cut or anything like that, but uh I'm just I know you're getting tight right now cuz I can see how you're sitting. >> I'm I'm fine. You don't need to worry about me. I'm asking you to tell to tell me the full picture, man, because I really do think that you're not a bad guy. I think this this whole thing has a backstory, and I want to hear it. >> Okay. Okay, let me let me say this then. I've been waiting for this. >> Okay. >> Okay. Somebody is Okay. Uh I have a warrant for my arrest for murder. You do? Okay. Okay. Yes. Okay. Now you state that there's cameras places and there's a you said that there was a camera or something uh semi pulling all over the driveway and >> so I'm just asking you to to tell me why. >> Okay. Now now why what >> why did it happen? >> Why what happened? I didn't Let me finish, please. >> You're you're going to repeat back to me what I've told you. And I already know what I told you. I'm asking you why. >> Okay. For another reason for for something else. Where is a murder weapon and what was it? >> Doesn't need to be a murder weapon. >> Yes, it does. In order for you to kill somebody, there has to be a murder weapon. >> Exactly. I've already been told this. My dad's been a cop, an investigator for a long period of time. I know my dad studied. I know other people. That's your dad. >> And I listen to my dad. >> Okay. >> There has to be a murder weapon in order for someone to be blamed for a murder. And I don't have any of that. So, I mean, [clears throat] that's what I'm trying to get at. Where is the murder weapon? >> I didn't ask you. >> What is the murder weapon? >> Alex, I didn't ask you for the murder weapon. I asked you to tell me why you did that. >> Why I did what? I did not do anything. Where is the murder weapon? Where is it? What is the murder weapon? Where is it? If you can't tell me that, I'm done. Okay, you know what it is. You don't apparently because I don't know what it is. I didn't do anything. >> Alex, >> you don't know what the murder weapon is or anything. There has to be a murder weapon in order for it to be somebody to be charged. Period. >> No. >> Yes. >> No. >> There has to be a murder weapon. >> Nope. That's not. >> And there's not no murder weapon. You can't charge nobody cuz a murder weapon has somebody's DNA on it, which we talked about, or fingerprints. Okay. Or even blood on it in order to match it the DNA on it to something else. >> And why don't you just talk to me straight? >> I am. You don't have a murder weapon or anything like that cuz I didn't do anything. If you don't have no murder weapon, >> there's a knife in your car. >> If you don't have no murder weapon knife in your car, I don't know if that's >> Yeah. >> That's a fishing knife. >> That's fine. >> That that that came out of the fishing box. Go ahead and check that. Please check that knife. Fine. >> Please check that knife. Hear me out. >> Please. No. No. No. No. No. Please check that knife for any DNA that belongs to any suspect that was or suspect whatever person that was in the house. Please check it. Please check that knife. I will be there when you check that knife. >> Okay. >> Do it. >> No. No. No. Please check that knife. I know what that knife looks like. It's in a black sheath. It's a fishing knife to cut fish. Yes. Please check it. >> Fine. Can you explain the rest of it? >> Explain the rest of what? >> You're there that day. You're there at that time. A call comes out. >> You ain't got no murder weapon, guy. >> Okay. >> You know what it is. >> Okay. >> You found a knife in that car. Fine. >> Yes. >> Let me ask you this. What if the blood on the clothes and the items in your car is Don's blood? There there there ain't no blood on any enclosed car. >> Okay. Well, we have forensic scientists looking at that. >> Okay, fine. >> This is what I'm trying to talk to you about, Alex. I'm trying to get the full picture here and get your side and your take and the backstory about what led up to this. And it's got nothing. I never asked you about any weapon. There has to be a weapon in doom murder. It could be a bat. It could be a knife. It could be anything that could endanger or kill somebody. >> Yeah. >> It could be an ice skate. >> A lot of murders happen by hand. >> Of course, >> but that's not the case that we're talking about here. >> You ain't got no murder weapon cuz I don't know what the hell you're talking about. Alex, you don't know what it is. >> Hear me out, >> please. >> Yeah, hear me out. >> Okay. Okay. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Take take a breath, man. I get your amped up. You don't need a murder weapon for a murder to happen. Let me rephrase that. This is a pen. Okay, hear me out. If I took this pen and I threw it down the hall, it doesn't mean I didn't write notes with that same pen. Those words still went to paper. It doesn't matter if my pen is with me anymore. Does that make sense? So, I'm not I'm not being a jerk. I'm trying to make deliver what I'm trying to say in a way that makes sense. >> You can still stick someone with that pen and kill him. >> You can, but I'm not talking about a pen being used as a weapon. I'm talking about a pen being used >> Mhm. [clears throat] >> to write something >> and that pen going somewhere else. >> I'm being described, >> right? And then it doesn't make it doesn't mean the words that were written on the paper were never written. Right. So, a murder can happen. >> Mhm. The weapon that was used can be discarded and thrown away on the side of a freeway, in a lake, in a garbage can at a a random establishment. Doesn't mean the murder didn't happen. Doesn't mean that murder can't be proven. The thing is is there's evidence these days [clears throat] that's just as valuable. >> Okay? >> You see what I'm saying, man? Like, >> okay. Mhm. And and in the two hours I've been talking to you, I don't my perception of you is you're not that guy that's going to not own up to something. We talked about how you were raised. We talked about being brought up in the church, but listening to your dad, following your dad, right? >> He was a police officer. >> Yeah. >> He was also investigating. >> Yeah. I >> I wrote in his police car when I was younger. Yeah. Or whatever it was. Okay, we'll let up to it, man. That's all. >> Well, that's what you doing what you did that day. >> I didn't do anything. >> What I mean, show me. Okay, but show me something. Show me something. I want to see me there and me doing something that you guys are claiming me that I did. I want to see something like this. >> What do you mean by that? >> You said there's always cameras. There's always somebody watching. Uh, listen, man. Well, I want to see something that show that shows me doing what you guys are blaming me for doing. >> You mean like a camera on the outside of the house? What are you talking specifically? I want to see something that shows me doing something. That's what I want to see. >> You got to understand. Um, >> you can't do it. >> What? >> Show me something about me doing something that you guys are blaming me for doing. >> Alex, I I I literally just told you many many things that indicate strongly that you did do this. You indicated me leaving the house in my car. That's what you told me that a camera scene. >> You also talked to witnesses. You also left that house as the call was being made. And then officers showed up at that house and found a a woman dead and a man severely injured. We have witnesses that that are saying that you're involved in this, that you did this. We have camera footage of you leaving at the same time the call came out. You ironically ditch your phone and then you head to California. Alex, I don't think you're confused about this. I think you just don't want to talk about it. And I can't force you to talk about it. That's [clears throat] your decision to make. I think you want to cuz I think you're a good guy deep down. And I think you want to just get this off your chest and move on. >> I'm a hell of a good dude. Yes, >> I believe you. >> But I don't go around hurting people or killing people. I just don't do that. >> I don't think you go around all the time hurting and killing people. >> All the time I know. I don't do it at all. >> Well, I don't believe you on this one, partner. It's there's just too much that says that you're there and this happened. And um we came we came here to talk to you, not to push something on you, but to get truth. Seek truth. That's what we're here for. Seek truth. >> I hear this. >> What you got to understand, you're a smart guy. >> You are. You've held jobs before. You've held jobs before. I know that you can wrench on cars and fix problems. Okay. You're articulate. You're educated. >> You You got to know that it just is what it is. And no, it's not. I didn't do anything. >> Okay. >> I just don't do that. I have a bigger heart than that. What I'm blamed for, I have a hell of a lot bigger heart than that. since. Okay. You talked to somebody I'm really close to at where I live. Who did you talk to? >> What's his name? >> I'm not sure who he talking. >> Okay, then you didn't talk to nobody then. He told me earlier that he did talk to somebody and right just right there just now. He told me that you didn't talk to nobody. You just lied to me. >> No, [clears throat] I didn't lie to you. You said that I talked to somebody close to you. >> Who was it? >> And I said, "Who are you referring to?" I said four to five different names that I talked to. Which one are you referring to? Well, any of those names, I'm not referring to who I'm talking about. >> I'm trying to understand what you're saying. So, if you're asking me who I talk to, that's important to you. >> Are there any other people that you talk to besides those people you named me? >> I said I talked to your dad. >> Mhm. >> Yes. Matt. >> Okay. Matt. >> Ian? >> Oh, I thought you talked to Ian. >> That's why I talk to him. He know he knows me. He knows me. Another sip. >> You got a drink of soda? >> Yeah, Ian's a nice guy. I like him a lot. >> Got to take a leap. [clears throat] >> Good. So, >> damn, man. >> I need to get the bubbles up. Get the bubbles up. >> Yeah. Yeah, you bet. Uh, >> boy. I tell you what, that was a talk. >> Yeah. >> Well, you guys do that anyways. It's your job. >> Sure. >> But damn. >> There was some things I caught him on, >> right? >> Yes. >> I'm going to go over it again. >> But I mean, I like you both. Okay. You guys are just doing your job. But there were some things I caught him on that when I went back to it, it got him like like when you catch somebody as guilty and they plead not guilty like two. >> So I I this can go both ways. >> Sure. Sure. >> What What were some of the things you >> I was I was actually want him to find me. Okay. A video or something that shows me that I did something what I'm being blamed for. He kind of skipped out on that role. I was like, "Show me something I made about me doing what I did while you guys are cutting me doing." >> Sure. >> And I didn't do nothing. >> He He kind of climbed up. >> Let's Let's back up maybe just a little bit. Maybe you help me out. >> Okay. >> Um you guys were talking about the house you were at, right? >> Yeah. >> What What do you remember about that house again? [clears throat] >> So, there were listening devices in here, too. No, we already told everything's audio video recorded. We told you that to get beginning. >> Yeah, I know. >> But they're learning listening devices in the room. >> Nowhere everywhere in the soul jail. Everything is >> Oh, I said that cuz you said just said that. I told him he asked me about the house. There's a white garage door. There's a VW bug has broke down uh in the in [clears throat] the driveway. There's a washing machine out there. Nice. a nice yard, you know, cuz they have somebody they told me that comes and manicures it, you know, they seem to pay too much for it. >> Right. Right. >> Well, that's just the way it goes in landscaping. >> Oh, yeah. Um, >> and then you knocked on the door >> that that morning you knocked on the door. >> Well, you got you got to knock on the door instead of just walk in, you know? I mean, >> yeah. I mean, I knock on a door. >> And when you walk in, who who you talking to? Uh the the lady uh her her name is Don. >> Okay. >> Yeah. But uh yeah. >> Hi. She she recognized you. She said hi. Come on in. >> Are you talking to anybody else in the house? Is there anybody else there? >> There was her uh there was a guy that he mentioned uh that that guy he mentioned to me. >> Okay. And there was there was there was an old man uh in a wheelchair. >> Okay. >> And you you've talked to him before, right? >> The old man. >> No, he had dementia. He has dementia, whatever that's called. >> But when you were there doing the uh the roofing shingles on the deck, you you talked to everybody in the house that day? >> Oh, that day there was there was there were Oh, I didn't know who lived in that house, but there there was another guy there. He he ride the bike around. Um when I was just doing the porch, you put on shingles on it, you know, drank some soda pops, you know. >> Did you have sandwiches that day? >> Yeah. Yeah. They made me lunch cuz I was hungry. She ate I was asked if I was hungry and I said, "Yeah, I'm starving." >> How How long was that before you came back the second time? Like what was the timeline between when you did the deck work until you visited on the 5th? Well, when I left that day having sandwiches and I asked if they want any more odd jobs, had any odd jobs and she gone? She says, "Well, uh, not right now. I have to think of something cuz you know it's not all the time where somebody has odd job." >> Oh, yeah. Sometimes. So, uh, she says, uh, uh, call at a certain time or a certain day. And so I did and she said, "No, not today." No, sick. She was sick in bed. >> Oh, so you you spoke to on the phone before? >> Yeah, cuz she told me to call. >> How many times How many times you talk to her on the phone? Uh it's uh I think it's twice. Yeah. >> Did Did you call her before you went over to the house on the 5th? >> No. Jeez. I don't think I did cuz uh at one time she uh told me uh in the morning come on over anytime, you know, if as long as it's past 9:30 anyways. And so I think that's what I did. I just went over there, you know, goes night it was past 9:30, they'll be awake and which they were. So knock on the door, they're awake, you know, out and bustling around inside the house. And then offered me in. >> So show up on the fifth and and you're talking to Don inside the house, >> the lady. Yes. >> Yeah. Where where are you standing at in the house? I'm I'm standing right by the there's a couch right as you get in there. Right on the right side there's a there's a couch where three people can sit on. That's where I'm standing at. >> Is there any other furniture inside? >> There's a there's another bed or another couch that turns out into a bed on another wall and and there's a chair. >> Okay. Anybody in that chair? the there there was a guy in that chair. Yeah. >> Did you have any conversation with him? >> Yeah. About >> what was that like? What was the context of that? >> Well, they're saying that uh Trump isn't doing everything that he's saying he was going to do and he's lying to people and they had uh news on the TV. >> Did you Did you like rebuttal on that? What What's your take? Do you think Trump's doing what he's supposed to do? >> I actually like Trump. I mean, uh, the first time that he was president, I you that was good, you know, but, uh, he's a strong individual. Trump is everybody overseas scared of him. >> Are you are you just having this conversation with the gentleman in the chair or is there other people that are like conversing with you or is >> No, I was just having a conversation with the that guy and me. Yeah. >> Did Did Don stay there the whole time? >> Huh? Did Don stay there the whole time in the living room or >> No, she was bustling around and doing her morning thing. >> Okay. >> Yeah, she thought she sat like for a few minutes to take a break. Uh uh looking at her phone uh sitting there and she said something about Trump that Trump's a liar and stuff and she just took a break from bustling around. But I was paying attention to conversation. I mean the guy was having on the TV cuz he was talking about the TV too or something. >> Do you remember his name or >> No, I don't know those people too well at all. Just >> they they they seem to know me when I was younger and growing up. >> Okay. And >> did you have a conversation about when you were younger with with them or did like did they help you? >> They they actually have told me that uh they know my family. They've known me since I was younger. They they know my mom and they known me when I was a baby and stuff. And I said, "Okay." and uh they've known uh people of my family or friends of the family. Okay. No. I was like, "Oh, okay." You know, I said, "Oh, I don't know you." But they know me cuz they've known people around my family and friends around my family and they know of me because I was the baby. >> Gotcha. Gotcha. [clears throat] >> And so I was like, "All right." you know, and the lady remember me when I was a baby and my mom, you know, I was like, "Okay, you know, and it seems like everybody knows a little bit about everybody, you know, these days or something." >> Well, C County is not a super big county. >> I was interested in somebody knowing me when I was a baby, you know. I mean, like, all right, somebody knew me when I was growing up. You mentioned earlier something that kind of thought was kind of interesting. You said you have really quick hands. >> Huh? What? What's that mean? >> I have practice in dishwashing. Have you practiced anything else? Well, you got to have quick hands in order to have dishwashing experience. And my first job, I was kind of slow at it. So, my first job uh at dishwashing, you know, you got to speed up. So you got to know where everything is, what this goes, where this goes, how to stack the dish, the dishes on the racks. So once that's completed, your hands move faster. You know how to handle stuff and your hands just get faster and faster and you do the job faster and better. And you could you you could become the professional at your job. You know, that could be any job. >> Sure. Sure. >> You know, but yeah, that's why I say I have fast hands cuz I got used to dishwashing. certain cup the bowls or silverware. Pick up silverware out of the racks. You, you know, with your hand back and forth, you know, when you tal forks, knives, spoons, what have you, you only want to see the forks at the time when you see when you pick up this stuff. Your your reflexes get faster, your hands get faster at the job. You become professional. Professional, you know, and is this what I did? >> Yeah. Did you use your hands for anything else? Like when you were younger, high school, anything like that? >> No. >> Martial arts of any kind? >> Like I was telling him I I actually hung out with the tough guys. >> Did you I was little when I was younger. >> Did you do any kind of martial arts as you got older? >> Well, I did a lot of things when I was growing up, you know, but um a lot of people do. And it's like you guys, you know, you everybody does something when they're growing up. and just want to stick with it. But uh yeah, I just did a lot of things when I was growing up. >> Yeah, >> it's something, you know, got into my head, you know, excited my head, you know, jogging, exercising, what have you. You just just want to stick with it. Even just uh punching a bag like at the YMCA, you know, you like it, stick with it. >> Can you punch a bag pretty fast? >> Did you practice that or? >> Well, maybe. >> Yeah. You do a lot of like uh shadow boxing and stuff like that. Or >> what's that got to do with what I'm in jail for? >> Just ask him, man. I know. >> Just trying to ask him understand who you are. I I'm in here for being blamed for murder and you I'm not saying you're do [clears throat] bad question or nothing like that. But people do things when they grow up. If they're excited about it, keep on doing it. People just do it, you know. I mean, it's just what it is, you know. I kept myself in shape. >> Yeah. I mean there are many ways that for a man or woman or a child to keep themselves in shape you know it's what they grew up to do keep healthy sure I mean nothing wrong with it you got to keep your you got to keep your mind and your body straight straight and strong I mean if you don't you can turn into a mushroom or whatever they want to call it just just stay awake all your life I want to stay awake just like working in a lumber yard you got to work keep strong. Well, I'm I'm just saying, you know, you want to work somebody somewhere that's tough, you got to work your body. >> Are you a strong person, Alex? >> I like arm wrestle. Yeah. You know, push-ups and just exercise, you know, keeps you keeps you strong. >> So, get back to the house there. You're you're having a conversation about Trump. How long does that conversation last? H probably about 15 minutes at most because uh I got tired tired of listening to it. I mean, don't get me wrong, I like Trump. Yes. He's he does I guess he does what he does in my eyes. You know, he's strong individual. Everybody's scared of him. Uh the president, but you know, I I say since Don didn't have any work for me to do and like I I say, "Hey, I got to go." And so I left. There was other things on my mind. >> What What was on your mind? >> I want to get uh more odd jobs, but I was just I just didn't do it that morning. I was like, "Hang with us." Uh you know, if you have a long conversation about Trump or anybody that you're really not used to hearing, you know, I just want to get that off your head. >> Did Did it seem like they had a different view more so of Trump? Like were they supportive or not supportive? cuz it sounds like you're kind of more supportive. Is that right? >> Well, that girl, she I think she might maybe half half on him. But that guy, he he talked about him and he he seemed to like him. I like Trump. I don't see nothing wrong with the guy, you know. He won, you know, but no, uh there's nothing wrong with that, you know. I would have voted for him, but I just didn't get to the register. But the >> You didn't get to register? >> I didn't [clears throat] get to the register. Gotcha. Gotcha. to vote for him. It sounded like And I maybe I misunderstood partially, but it sounded like you guys had kind of like a a disagreement on whether Trump was doing the things he was supposed to do. No. >> And and whether like it seemed like you were having kind of a conversation about that. That's Is that not what you said or did I miss something? >> No. I mean, they were talking about Trump and the lady, like I just said, like like you're just misunderstanding me now, I guess. Uh, >> she uh >> she was saying that Trump was lying about a few things that he's not going through what he was saying, but uh he's still getting things done. >> Did that make him mad when she was saying he was lying? >> No. >> A lot of people notice that he's lying someone just like the last president, you know, saying this and saying that and not going through with it. People notice things like that. >> Sure. No, it's like it just happens. I mean, no. I mean, the [clears throat] guy got got elected president, which is fine. I like that. You know, he's just doing what he's he's doing. Everybody that pressuring him into doing everything at once, you know, he could be president for another four years until another president comes in possibly. So, he has plenty of time to do things. He's already gotten a lot done. But no, no, no. whatever people say about Trump. No, that's just that's their opinions. He's still a good dude. Everybody says that he hasn't done things or he's lying about things, but they still like him even though they've they've uh voted for him. I mean, it is what it is, you know. It's just he's still a good dude. He's still the baddest president I think there is, you know, the uh the best president. right there. >> So, you're you're having this chat mostly with the gentleman in the chair. Is that right? >> Yeah. >> And and Dawn, she's Where's she at in the house? >> Well, she was in the that morning. She was bustling bustling around like I said earlier, she was bustling around uh up and down the hall uh getting getting breakfast done. >> How long were you in the house for? >> Maybe about 15 maybe 20 minutes. like that. Like I said, cuz I was getting tired of hearing about Trump, just talking about it, and there was no odd jobs for me to do that day. >> You said she was getting breakfast. Was she like preparing meals or >> Yeah, it was breakfast time for them. >> Okay. Was she cooking? >> Uh, she's bustling around somewhere going back and forth. But yeah, she's just cooking breakfast. That's what That's what has to be done if you're going to be doing breakfast is cook. >> Sure. Not sure. >> They didn't have you to stay for breakfast or anything like that? >> No. >> No. >> No. I No. There was no reason for me to stay for breakfast. I was I was there to work, you know, make some money, but there was there was no job. So, I have to had to let them know that uh I was go ahead and go and so I went and had less. And now from there, you guys know what happened from there. first camera less and less. I mean, there's no big mystery there. I mean, >> well, yeah, I know, right? Except now we have two people who are hurt, right? You leave and now there's there's somebody who's deceased. Well, I did not know that until I was just now having a warrant for my murder arrest. which was strangely obnoxious to me. >> Well, I understand that. >> I was told that by like the officer. So, I mean, it's as Oh my gosh. Am I afraid? Yes. And then again, I'm confused. Yes. There there there's a well being blamed for murder that's not good for anybody at all for one and that can scare somebody you know. >> Are you scared? >> Well, my nerves are actually quite calm as you guys see right now. I don't seem scared. I seem calm. >> Yeah. You know, I'm talking about what have you, you know, and no, I don't actually get scared that easy. I'm just I just don't have the nerves. >> What does scare you? >> Nothing. >> Never. Nothing ever. >> No monsters, no goblins, no nothing like that. >> Scared of the dark. Like when I was younger, I used to be really scared of the dark. >> No. No. uh uh people that I've met in my life say just a it's it's just in your head and if you think it's real it's real and if it's not it's not if you want to be scared of it you're going to be scared of it. If you don't want to be scared of it just don't be scared of it. So just become neutral. So I be tell myself just be neutral not to be scared of anything. It's like having no nerves. How long have you been that way? Always. Or when when did you find that? When did you find that spot, Alex? When I was probably when I was about 14, maybe. I was younger. About 14, something like that. I'm not sure if that's the right age. It all has to do with meditation. >> So, does it kind of go back to the church then? >> Not just the church. You can you can not even you don't even have to go to church just to meditate. You know, some some friends that you know meditate. They teach you how to meditate to clear your head. You know, just teach you not to be afraid of anything. Even though supposed to be afraid, freaky or something like that. It's just like a little everything. >> That's I I think it's pretty brave to not be afraid of anything. >> Well, there's nothing to be afraid of, you know. It's this I'm living life. Why go around life just being afraid of something or everything? It's just it's just like having a chip on your shoulder and you can't get it off. You're just afraid of something or everything. I don't got no chip on my shoulder, per se. That's just there's never been one. It's just there's no reason to even be having that feeling. being afraid of something just means looking them over your shoulder or looking at somebody. They just looked at you just just to look at you, you know, but you're constantly afraid of that person now just cuz you looked at you. I mean, it's just I'm just saying it's just could be anything about being afraid, being afraid of people, what have you, what have you. I refuse to be that way. >> And that's kind of been your your motto since you were a teenager. Yeah, it's just refuse to be afraid cuz I want to be like that my whole life because once you grow up, be older, you kind of you grow up into being afraid. And uh but no, that's not what I wanted to be. I wanted to be fearless, not afraid of anything. That's good to have. You know, just being a normal person, whatever a normal person is going about life. >> What What is a normal person? >> I have no idea. Some people that >> some people say that they're I'm abnormal. People say that's normal. And I say, well, I just say I'm just living my life, you know, cuz normal is normal. They're they're not born perfect. And they say babies are are normal cuz they're just newborn. Oh, they're normal. They're perfect as a man. I like, okay, that's what you want to say. You know, nobody's normal. Nobody's perfect. We all we all do things in life. We all live our life differently. [clears throat] >> I just grew up living my life how I knew how to live my life. You know, >> you say that we all do things in our life. >> Of course we all do. >> What things do you do? >> I like keep my mind straight. >> When it's not straight, what do we do? >> I try not to be that way. >> Because it just affects the mind. >> I know we try not to be that way. >> Yeah. But we're all that way sometimes. >> Well, sometimes we get frustrated at our friends, you know, just off of something that they might say or u might keep on repeating or hey, I already said that. Yeah, you said that the other day too. Like if somebody has mental problems, per se, they keep on repeating themselves. Hey, you already said that. It's like sorry, you know, it's just the way I am. Just want to make sure you know that kind of thing. You know, it's just it's just life. You know, people are grown up differently. I mean, not everybody grows up the same. Not even twins. Might look alike, but that doesn't mean they grow up the same. >> You want a drink of the soda? You kind of seem like your throat's getting a little dry. >> If you need a break, Alex, you can have a break, too, man. Just let us know if you need a break. No, >> fine. I'm just, you know, uh, so it's I We're all good people, right? We want to be good people. >> Of course. Well, some some people don't, but yeah, I'm I'm a good person, >> right? >> So, let's let's let's talk about what happened that day. What What happened that day? >> See, that's See, that's another thing, too. I want to see a video as I see on him of me being there doing what supposedly has been done. Seriously, because I did not do anything. >> What? What do you think's been done? >> What you told me? Some person is dead. Some another some other person dead uh injured. Well, I'm being blamed for this cuz somebody said my name. Okay. [clears throat] That's the only reason I I got a warrant for my arrest. Alexander Rogers. And so I want to see a video take something that shows me doing this. Okay. If you guys show that, hey, guess what? I'm guilty. And I was actually talking to him earlier about a weapon. He said, "Oh, not all all all murders, anything like that has to have a weapon involved." Well, there has to be a weapon involved to prove that whatever happened was made or done by a certain weapon. It was done by this weapon. Well, where's the weapon? I have no idea what the weapon is. And then he told me that there was a knife found in in the com building. I guess what? Go ahead and check that knife. Check it all the time. That's just a fishing knife. That's a knife. It could be a murder weapon. Sure. I know what the knife looks like. I put it there as a black plastic chief. And so, you know, to be honest, real honest right now, >> that's all we're asking. >> If you don't have no video of me doing anything or even have an actual weapon and of the accident that even happened, I'm not trying to play tough guy, but I'm done. Find me a video of me doing something. But there is a one cuz I didn't do nothing. I did not do nothing to those people. I love those people. They love me. They knew me when I was growing up. >> How' they get hurt then? >> You didn't have to get somebody that actually did the did did that. So I mean I went there to ask for work to visit with the people and I left. There was no work. Why say if there's no work? I mean, but like I'm saying, >> do you remember what you were wearing that day? >> Yeah, actually I do. The clothes The clothes uh I came in jail with. H anything else? Yeah. Uh I was wearing a black jacket. There's nothing wrong with wearing clothes. I mean, but if there is no video, literally video of me doing anything cuz I wasn't doing anything. If there's no murder weapon at that, I'm done. >> Okay. There's there's no there's no weapon besides a knife in the car that could be used as a weapon. Yeah, that'll have my fingerprints on it. It's not going to have no blood on Nobody's blood on it. >> Have you used it? >> Take that. >> What did you use that knife for? >> I didn't I didn't use it. I I uh cleaned it up actually. Kio 30. It was rusty. It's a nice knife. >> Where Where did you get that knife? >> Where I lived? I lived in a trailer. Oh, >> okay. >> Yeah. >> But uh No, I cleaned it up and it wasn't that much. It's just a fishing knife, you know, and cut fishing lure or cut fishing fish necks, you know, to kill them or whatever or splitting down the down the down the belly. It's just a fishing knife. But uh yeah, uh no, I'm not guilty at all. I would not do anything like that to anybody. You know, I I love people, period. Right. >> Even you guys. No, don't get me wrong. Don't get me wrong at all. Alex, let me ask you this, man. If let's say hypothetically the the the items in your car, let's say they had some blood on it that came from Dawn, we've already established that Dom was hurt and killed August 5th. What would you say if your if her DNA, her blood was on your clothing? >> Was on my clothing? >> Yeah. I don't want to say nothing cuz uh they they wouldn't me. I didn't do nothing. >> You wouldn't you wouldn't have an explanation for why it would be on there? >> No, cuz I didn't do nothing wrong. Who told you that you need a weapon in connection to a murder to be guilty? like just I've learned this growing up since like I was 14 or 15 years old when I actually started knowing what crime was uh how people do crime, what weapons they use this and that or uh any type of weapon that could hurt somebody or kill them or what have you. And if it could become if if a person uh is murdered from a certain weapon that somebody used, a person, somebody would have to have that certain type of weapon, whatever they might have used in order to claim that they did this, their fingerprints, other person's blood or anything like that. you know, the uh what the powerful of a of a weapon, how would they be used, a bat, you know, axe or something like that, you know, anything like that. [clears throat] And I learned that growing up. I learned that from cops. I learned that from my dad. My dad was an investigator. He was a cop for a while. Uh I learned that from uh people that he that he knew, still knows. Uh yeah, >> but uh I've known that ever since and I believe if there is actually no murder weapon, >> what I'm trying to say say to you is this is before we ever come down came down here, um a judge, you're familiar with what judges do, right? They they >> Well, yeah, that's a that's a that's a way I understand it, too. Um but before we ever got down here, >> okay, >> a judge looked at the details we've shared with you. Okay. >> And a judge said that there's probable cause to arrest you for these crimes. >> Probable cause. You know what probable cause means? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> So, the judge that signed your nationwide extraditable warrant for your arrest for murder in the first degree and assault or murder in the second degree and an assault in the first degree. >> Excuse me. >> Said that and knew that we did not have a knife at the time. And he said there's enough to arrest you and put you in jail. that you just told me. What's that? >> You told me earlier. >> Oh, so you didn't that there was a knife in the car and I just told you yes there was. >> You think you're misunderstanding me? >> Oh no. You said there was a knife in the car cuz the black car. >> Yes. >> Let me back it up. Before we came down here. Okay. Before we came down here, a judge signed a warrant saying law enforcement in the United States of America. You see Alexander Lee Rogers, you put him in cuffs >> based on the circumstances that we've shared with you. >> Yeah, but if you just told me, let's back up some more. >> You said that you didn't mention a knife in the cart. You did. >> No, no, no, no. We We >> That's why we talked about it. >> Listen, we we found the knife today, Alex. >> A knife today. >> Okay. We were just talking about You said >> Yeah. You said there was a knife in the car. >> Yeah. You That happened today. >> Yeah. The black car. Yeah. >> Yeah. It's your warrant was issued days ago. >> It's what I'm trying to explain. >> It's the the blade's like maybe 6 in long. Has a plastic sheet on it. >> I saw it, man. I know what it looks like. >> I know what it looks like, too. I was the one that put it. >> What I'm trying to explain to you is that the judge disagrees necessarily with what your friends told you growing up, >> right? You don't care. >> Well, I think my partner's telling you there was probable cause before even finding the knife. before finding any knife. >> That's why you were arrested before we got to California. Correct. >> Check that knife. I told him like 10 times in a row. Check that knife. >> I don't understand here. I really don't understand you guys. Really, a judge could put out a warrant for anybody suspect. Anybody cops can suspect anybody for anything, you know, this or that, what have you. You know, I am not literally gonna kill anybody like that. That's just totally wrong. It is not my blood. So, >> like I told him, maybe maybe it didn't that wasn't your intention. >> That's not my intention anyway to kill anybody, >> right? So, maybe things got out of hand. That's what we're trying to ask you. >> If anything gets out of a hand, like if you get drunk and get in a street fight, that gets out of hand. >> Mhm. But if you're talking about innocent people here and you're just killing them at a just illheartedly. No, that is that is not me. >> I'm not saying >> I care for everybody. >> But me at my worst moment, Alex. Me at my most frustrated point and I'm losing my temper is not me. That's me at my worst. >> Okay. I'm going to say this one more time. Then I think I'm going to be done. >> Okay. >> Okay. Then I might get a lawyer. Okay. might might I'm not saying I am but I did not do anything. If there is no actual actual video of me doing this obnoxious thing to these people and if there's no actual actual weapon with my fingerprints on it or even any blood of these people, I'm done cuz I know I didn't do anything. >> There is a knife [clears throat] in that car. >> What's What's the video show that we have? I have no idea. That's what I'm saying. If you look at I don't have any video of anything. Why should I cop to anything? You guys are trying to make me copy something. We're seeking the truth. >> Yes. You're trying to make me copy something. >> Just want the facts. >> Just seeking the truth. >> I know how you guys work. I haven't done nothing wrong in it. No, I will not do that to anybody. Honestly, I don't want you step on it and I'll go around it. I'll blow on it to get it away from you or something. I'm just saying I am not I'm I'm not a people killer, >> honestly. Show me a video of anything and me doing what I did. Seriously. Period. Okay. And if you even have a certain weapon that was done in the crime, period. Seriously, take a picture of it. Take a picture of it. Come back and show me. I will stay here in jail till you do that. >> I'm not coping or nothing, guys. No, you're >> I'm sorry. I'm not trying to be a B. I'm a sip of this real quick. I'm sorry. No, you're >> I'm not I'm not a bad guy. [ __ ] I'm not a bad guy. I'm really not a bad guy and I don't think you Okay. Okay. [clears throat] Would you like a drink of yourself? Yeah. Thanks. Please take take a deep breath. Yeah. Thank you. That always comes afterwards. >> Am I pissing that guy off? I'm not trying >> You know, I don't know. I I'm not mad at you, right? >> I'm not I just want to have conversation, right? >> Yeah, that's what I'm trying to have. I >> Let's Let's Let's back up. You You still want to talk to me, right? You still okay with that? >> Sure. I'll talk to both of you guys. Sure. Let's Let's back up a little bit. >> I'm being blamed for nothing that I didn't do. >> Alex, I'm not here to blame you. Just trying to find facts. Okay. I just I I know that sounds kind of maybe it sounds benign. It sounds kind of to you, but I'm I am just trying to find the facts. >> Well, I'm trying to show tell you guys right now. I did it many times. Show me a video of me doing something. >> Let me Let's Let's back up a little bit. Okay. Get the weapon that was used in the incident. Okay. So then I'm not I'm not going to cop to that cuz I didn't do it. >> Let's let's back up. >> I am innocent. >> Can we back up just a little bit? Maybe. >> Fine. Fine. Fine. >> Maybe maybe that'll help. So I I want to back up to to your cell phone. We we were talking about your cell phone a little bit ago, right? >> Of course. >> Uh yeah, >> we mentioned where where did you leave your cell phone? Where did where'd you dump your cell phone off? >> Yeah. >> Where where was that at? >> Well, you guys already know that, >> right? Where was that at, though? Uh that was uh I guess it was it was a woodland. Huh? Yeah. But you guys knew that >> at the restaurant, right? >> Yeah. >> What What were you doing with the phone prior to to dumping it off? >> I think I was actually listening to music on the phone cuz we have YouTube music on the phones. >> Okay. What kind of music were you listening to? I actually listen to uh I listen to classical. I listen to >> uh I like to listen to bass music, you know. You know, bass music for cars and stuff like that. >> Like subwoofer type bass or Okay. >> Yeah. >> Like like rap music or not? >> No. Or just just things with high bass? >> Yeah. I like bass and I like listen to classical. What else were you doing on the phone? Besides listening to music, I wasn't on the phone. When When you have your phone, what do you what do you use it for typically? What do you What do you What do you search? I know you said you >> I I like watch a huge amount. >> Earlier you said you were on the Google and you were searching for Gary Gary Hilton, right? >> Yeah. >> What else What else do you What else do you use the Google for? Well, I just told you I I like watching YouTube. short uh short videos of uh people on cars, you know, uh there YouTube shows videos all all over the world [clears throat] of uh uh doing racing cars and making uh car sounds and uh just anything that people can record, they stick on YouTube. Anything that people like. >> Sure. So I go to the YouTube on Google and start watching sort of videos and uh >> you watch other videos on the internet. >> Yeah, there's a thing called home which is show a picture of a little house. Go to that. You can actually pick about which videos you like to use. Uh like uh just anything [clears throat] that anybody could put on like YouTube or that. So yeah, there's all sorts of stuff that people can watch on YouTube. Whatever the mind comes up with, I guess on that type of thing. >> Are there other kind of videos that you you've used your phone to watch? >> Just what whenever they show on YouTube, I'll watch cuz I'll just sit back and drink soda pop or eat water, you know, cuz uh Yeah, I eat water cuz it's frozen. >> Yeah. >> Ice. >> Ice cubes. Yeah. >> Yep. Mhm. >> Is that like a texture thing? You like that? >> Yeah. But Well, cuz it's hot, too. You know, it's hot out. >> Yeah. And I'll just uh watch YouTube because there's nothing I got a TV so I'll just do uh the phone. >> Yeah, the phone doesn't have a TV on it cuz you're watching videos. >> Sure. Sure. Sure. >> See you even movies movies on YouTube. But uh that's one of my main things I do by myself is watch YouTube cuz there's no TV. So I watch the the t the telephone for the TV. >> This one might be a little personal. Do you search for pornography on the internet? >> Pornography? >> Yeah. >> Uh, well, I'm really quite not into that. Kind of embarrassed of that. So, >> what's embarrassing about that? >> I mean, we talked earlier about kind of like what you like, right? >> Your type. >> Mhm. >> Um, >> do you use the the internet for that? >> That's why I say I'd rather not get into that. So, I'd actually rather keep on going. maybe or maybe not. I Well, I'm in I'm in jail for anything else. Uh I just don't want to talk about anybody could do anything on their phone as they please. It's they're just their property. But anyways, uh [clears throat] I got I'm just about done talking actually. I'm getting really close to that. Okay. Well, Alex, one thing that we we haven't been >> I'm not trying to be a doll. >> We we don't think you are. One thing that we haven't really talked about uh much about is is the fact that uh um Andrew is alive. >> Who? >> Andrew. >> Who's Andrew? >> He's the he's the other victim in the house. He was the old man in the chair. >> And he identified you as the person that attacked him and killed Don. >> Andrew. >> The old man in the chair. >> Oh, he's what I call grandpa. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Yeah. Grandpa. >> Okay. Yeah. What? >> Did you notice? >> I heard exactly what you said. He's alive. Yeah. And >> And [clears throat] he identified you as the person that attacked him and Dawn. I don't know. I didn't attack nobody. >> Why would he say that? >> Why would he say what? >> Did you attack them? >> Didn't you hear what I said earlier, though? The guy that I had a talk with uh that me did uh me talk about me that me and him were having a talk about Trump. >> Mhm. >> And uh >> I heard all that. >> Okay. Well, I'm listening to you guys. Okay. >> Yep. And he identified you as the person that attacked him and died. >> Oh, can I finish talking to him? >> Please go ahead. I'm starting to get angry now. >> Not in a bad way. Just [clears throat] Anyways, if somebody wants to finish, if somebody's talking, you ask him to talk, let them please finish. Anyways, I know who the old man is. Not know who he is. But anyways, me and that guy would talk about Trump and things are on the TV and the old man is talking and I usually pay attention when old men talk like he's like my grandpa. Like my grandpa I pay attention to him. He's a war veteran. He was in World War II and he like Yeah, he was in World War II. Anyways, he's old man. I for I even though they really can't say much or know what they're saying, I still pay attention to them. Anyways, that guy and me, he was sitting in a chair laying down. Him and me were talking about Trump. An old man was in a wheelchair. He was starting to talk. And I kindly, how I am, I respect elderly people, I listen, okay? And I get I shake my head like like I'm like I'm understanding what he's saying. Okay. Well, this other guy uh whatever he said his name is told me that he has dementia. I said, "Oh, okay." I said, "My both my grandparents have dementia." That means they don't know what the hell they're talking about. They forget things. They for they have like maybe a minute or so, maybe more of memory in their head. They know the people around them cuz they're always around them. Like I said, I have grandparents. They're like that. I babysited my grandparents when I was younger. My grandma had dementia. My grandpa had dementia. They weren't all there. So my parents didn't have any time to babysit them. So I I was doing nothing. So I babysitted them. I got to know what all this was about. Me and she had forgetfulness them not being there in their mind. So I know what this is. Anyways, that old man does not know me worth the crack. >> Are you talking about the old man in the wheelchair? >> Yes. Andrew, I guess what his name is, right? >> We're not talking about the guy in the wheelchair. >> Okay. I am. >> We're talking about the guy in the recliner. Who? Yeah, that guy. He says that uh he was the guy I was talking to. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. He his his name Yeah. I [clears throat] don't know his name. >> You said you attacked him and done with a knife. >> I I talked to him the other day. I'm sorry for laughing on camera. I really am. I really am. But you guys really you guys you guys got to really get you get your story straight. Show me video. Seriously, I already said this like 10 times. >> You just said you respect your elders. You calling man a liar? >> Huh? >> You calling him a liar? >> Who? >> Andrew. >> Who's Andrew? >> Andrew is the surviving victim. He's the one that said that you attacked him and dawn. >> I attacked nobody. I told you guys. >> Why would you say that? I don't I didn't attack nobody. Well, I'm saying before I'm done here, show me a video of me doing anything in that house, finding the weapon that supposedly I used to do this with. >> Alex, why would he say that you did this? >> I don't know. People say things. I mean, >> that's kind of a stretch though, right? I mean, accuse me of something of that nature. Like, you know, that that will that will get somebody. Yes. I'm not that kind of guy that would do something like that. >> We don't think you're always that kind of guy, Alex. >> Huh? >> We don't think that you're always that kind of guy. >> I try to be as good as that guy as I possibly can in life cuz that that reflects on other people and they reflect on you the same way. Nicely and uh maturely and uh they like to get to know you better, you know. That's what I like. But uh [clears throat] >> but there's times that we all make mistakes, right? >> Times we all go too far. >> There's times that we do things that we didn't intend to do. Okay, I'm just about done. Show me a video of what I did if you guys really think I did it or whoever said I did it. Find find a supposedly weapon that I supposedly used. Okay. Seriously, >> Alex, you're a smart guy, man. >> Why do you guys keep on doing this? And I told you I'm just about done. I didn't do nothing. >> You can be done anytime you want, man. We're trying to get your perspective on this. We're trying to give you that benefit of the doubt to talk about it. >> I don't do this to people, guys. I just don't I don't have the heart to see somebody else's blood. >> To what? >> I don't have heart to see somebody else's blood. You know, I mean, if you kill somebody or poke somebody's eyes out or cut their head open or hit somebody with a baseball bat and they start bleeding, I actually throw up. I dry heave. [clears throat] It's just not me. No, I am not that guy. I'm innocent. I'm always going to play innocent on this. I love people no matter who they are. I'm not racist. I hate my enemies overseas because they want to kill us. But that's about how far that goes. So I could be done anytime, right? So I could be done anytime. Show a video of me doing this and show it to me. Find a weapon that was supposedly used of this horrific actions. Horrific actions. Okay. Show me the Show. Show Show me the weapon. Period. Just take a picture of it. Show me. Period. >> Other than that, I'm done. >> Now, you can be done anytime. >> I'm done. >> Okay. Have a sit and tell your escorted off. >> Oh, I'm sorry. My bad. >> You're excited. >> I'm sorry. I'm I'm sorry, guys. I'm I'm I'm not mad at you. I'm not mad at you. >> It's not personal whatsoever. You can be done anytime you want. Anytime. >> Would you like to be done talking? >> Not really. >> So, you you read Miranda? >> Maybe. Yes. Yes or no? I'm I'm kind of stuck in between here. >> Alex, we're fair guys, man. And you're not forced to stay here. We're not forcing you. We're again, we're seeking truth. >> You've you've you've said Hold on a minute. I just want to clarify. >> I'm sorry. >> You guys have been kind to me for drinks. I appreciate that. >> That's about all we can give you. We don't we don't have anything else to give. >> Well, that's kind though. That shows kindness. I look at that. He's helping. Well, I had no choice, but he helped me with the train. You need nothing. >> Even though I I could be out of these handcuffs, I'll be harmless to you guys. Literally, I am not that kind of guy to go do horrific things to people, which I'm bling blamed of. I don't do that. You can ask, well, since you talked to my dad, you can even ask him. I just don't do that. You have some paper on me. Accidents have happened. I don't go around killing people though. >> What was the accident that happened? >> You know that what happened? You have the paperwork and I'm not going to go back and repeat it. you know all you know I was locked up for something and uh I don't go around hurting or even killing people on purpose or just for stupid reasons or no reason or just even a little reason or just what have you or just uh just because what have you. That's just not my blood. >> Can accidents happen more than once? different accents probably. Yes. If a if a person's accent prone, I'm not accentrone though, you know. I I try not to do that. I try to be the best guy I possibly can. You know, I I look out for myself in life. You know, I I I want to show off for my dad since he knows my dad. I want, you know, my dad might be a little grumpy. He's 74 years old, but I love him to death. I I care for him, but still I want to show off for him as much as I possibly can. Even though he might say this or this or might complain a little bit, he's a hard guy to please. Okay. But still, he's my father. >> Yeah. >> I will not do anything at any given time ever to displease him or to or for him to say, "Hey, Alex, you're not you're not my son no more." >> I don't think your dad would ever say that. >> You're not getting what I'm saying. I'm not that good of a guy. No, I'm not saying you aren't. I do get what you're saying cuz we're all the same way. Every one of us wants to please her. >> I will make my dad proud in his own eyes. >> Yeah. >> And I am doing good out there. Okay. And I'm here cuz I want to visit. I was planning on going back. Okay. To Washington. >> Yeah. >> Literally, that's that's my place. I have family there, you know. I I survive there quite well. You know, I find work there. You know, I know a lot of people there. So why would I do something stupid as what they're claiming me to freaking do and get stuck in the worst situation in anybody's life, which is this being blamed for first-degree murder and whatever else you said. That is no no that that's not me. That I am not that dumb. I'm doing I was doing really well out there. >> Nobody thinks you're dumb at all. So quite the opposite. Um, nobody thinks you're dumb at all. Nobody's saying that. And and nobody's saying that you're this monster that's out doing this. >> I'm not a monster at all. >> Right. What I'm saying is is everybody has a snapping point. Everybody has a a day where they lose it. >> I might have snapped off a couple people in my family. not snap snap, but you know, uh saying uh maybe some smartass or to me to to my family that's kind of snapping off, you know, or not agreeing with them and snapping off and and then being done with it and then coming back, hey dad, you know, or or this or that with my hand, whatever. It's like, hey, I'm sorry, you know, you know, that's not me. And cuz we're all Christians, you know, so everybody in my whole family is a Christian. words are said, sure. But then again, we we think about it's like that's not me. That should have been said [clears throat] and go back and apologize. I'm the apologizing kind of guy. I don't like doing that to my family at all. You know, it's just my family is my family. I love my family a lot. I mean, it's just I just love my family. I'm in love with my family. But uh with anybody though in life things just slipping in their in out of their mouth you know is small or could be something more than small say yeah I'm sorry you know >> but I have not a monster at all just just it's not my blood to be a monster I didn't grow up as a monster you know I didn't get taught to be a monster at all so I am not a monster I think >> one thing I I want to make clear with you is is if you want to continue talking to us, we would love to keep talking to you and and get your take and and continue the conversation, but we're not going to force that. I just want to be straight with you about that. You don't need to. You've been writing Miranda rights and um we're not going to force that. Okay? I want to make that clear. So, I'm happy to read those again to you. I just don't want you to feel like you're forced to talk to us. >> Okay? Let me say something. Okay? Like I said many many times and I don't care who said what to about what who did this or who did that. I didn't do anything. I'm completely not guilty on everything. I don't give a damn. Okay. Show me a video of me doing something straight out. I want to see a video of me doing something, which there's not going to be no video of me doing anything, period, cuz I didn't do anything. And show me the utensil, the knife or what have you, the murder weapon of this soal horrific thing happening. Show me a picture of it. Okay? Just other than that, okay? I'll stay in here in jail. I don't care. I'm fed here. I got water. I can exercise myself. You're Can I ask you a question? You remember Officer Bestman back in November of 2024? He contacted him in the Safeway parking lot. >> Huh? You remember a police contact back in November? >> A police contact? >> Yes. >> You were arrested on a on a warrant and it was uh there was an officer that arrested you in the Safeway parking lot in Long View. You remember that? >> Oh, okay. I remember some uh 15th Avenue. >> Yeah. >> Uh parking lot. Okay. [clears throat] He's a young guy, right? >> What's that? >> He's a young guy. >> Younger. >> I met him twice. >> Yeah. >> Okay. What about him? >> Do you remember ever saying anything to him in a hospital? >> A hospital? >> Yeah. Something about taking your taking his gun. >> Taking his gun? >> Mhm. I never said nobody's gun. >> No, I didn't say you did. Do you recall saying that to him? >> Taking somebody's gun. >> That you that you thought about taking the officer's guns that >> I would never say that to the cop. >> So, you didn't say that? I would never say that to a cop. Oh, hell no. They they probably had me on the ground and beat me up or something. I would never say that to a cop. >> This was This was a Yeah. Okay. It's not a charge or anything like that. I'm just >> What the Why are you even bringing that up? >> Because you don't have video of me doing what I did. People saying I did anything like that if you don't have no murder weapon. >> Alex, how many Show me a picture? >> How many crimes do you think have video footage? just captured of it. >> I have no idea. I don't care. I'm talking about me, >> right? I understand you're talking about. >> If you don't have no video video of me doing anything, no weapon, I'm done. Call officer. I'm done. Call an officer. I want to go back to myself. I did not do anything, guys. No murder weapon. No video of me doing anything. I don't care who said this was. Anybody can say anybody's name. Period. Okay? I will stay here in jail. Okay? I will stay here in jail. I'm sorry, guys. Nobody's No video. No murder weapon. Okay. Yes, there was a knife in the car. Yes, I did that. Sir, I've been there. It has no blood on it. >> [ __ ] No. Excuse me. I'm sorry. >> Thank you for the drink, though. I'm done. Sure. Get an officer. I want to go back to myself. a video of me doing whatever that I was blamed to do, which I didn't do or a murder weapon. I'm done. >> We're going to help you out. Get you. >> No, you ain't. Get you the office. >> Whatever. Not that. I'm sorry. I'm not trying to be a bubble. I'm not I don't do things like that. I just don't. That's not me, guy.
