There's no one. >> On August 28th, 2023, around 6:12 p.m., patrolman Christopher Bedki with the Mount Ephraim Police Department responded 855 Station Avenue [snorts] on a report of a hitandrun crash involving one vehicle and a street sign. As Patrolman Bedki was at the crash scene, patrolman Steven May located a white 2015 Toyota Prius matching the caller's description on Sartorii Avenue. He attempted to initiate a traffic stop, but she drove away. It's okay. >> Roll on your side. >> I'm hurting you. >> Sit up. Patrolman May quickly apprehended the suspect in front of the Belmore self storage at 1070 Kings Highway. The suspect, later identified as Rebecca Barnes, actively resisted as Patrolman May placed her in handcuffs. He noticed that her shirt was covered in dry vomit and she had also urinated herself. A search of her vehicle incident to arrest yielded the presence of multiple open containers. Her vehicle was impounded by for a mandatory 12-hour hold under John's law, and patrolman Robert Bernau remained on scene to wait for the tow truck. >> Want to check that personal? Make sure >> Yeah. The standard statement for motor vehicle operators was read to her and she initially agreed to submit breath samples. However, she was eventually charged with a refusal since she refused to cooperate when the officers asked her to blow into the machine. During her interactions with the officers, she repeatedly offered them sexual favors.
