2023 patrolman Matthew Zin with the
Shrewsberry Police Department observed
that to thousand phot we Ed a speeding
60 mph in a 35 mph Zone driving on the
wrong side of the road and driving
recklessly on Broad Street in the
vicinity of Silverbrook Road patrolman
zyon activated his emergency lights
initiated a vehicle stop after the
driver pulled over he proceeded to make
contact with the driver who was
identified as 30-year-old emilyn
roaz hello hey how you doing tonight she
very please to have your driver's
license on any registration insurance
for the car uh this is a
registration um where you coming from
tonight uh the buter clot oh

of the road before asking her where she
was coming from emilyn told the officer
that she was coming from the Butcher's
Block a restaurant in Long Branch he
asked emilyn if she had anything to
drink and she admitted to having alcohol
before driving based on his suspicion of
impairment patrolman zyon asked emlin to
exit the vehicle and performed field
sobriety
exercises I'm turning her lights

failed to touch Heel To Toe on each step
and turned improperly the last field
sobriety exercise was the one leg stand
test during this exercise emilyn
displayed a lack of balance and failed
to raise her foot in the proper fashion

admission to consuming alcohol and her
in ability to adequately complete the
field sobriety exercises patrolman
zybron placed emilin under arrest for
driving Under the Influence a search of
her vehicle revealed an open container
of alcohol her vehicle was impounded for
a mandatory 12 hour hold under John's
law and emiline was transported to the
Shrewsberry Police Department for
further processing at police HQ the
standard statement for motor vehicle
operators was read to emilyn and she
refused to submit breath samples
patrolman zybin issued are the following
summonses operating Under the Influence
refusal to submit to chemical test
speeding the 5 to9 m pH reckless driving
careless driving traffic on marked Lanes
an open container of
alcohol okay P you for that sorry all

2023 emilyn pleaded guilty to operating
under the the influence as a result of
her guilty plea she was required to use
an ignition interlock device for 3
months spent 12 hours at an intoxicated
driver resource center and pay a total
of
$690 in fines she pleaded not guilty to
refusal to submit the chemical test and
she was found not guilty on that charge
the other five tickets for speeding
reckless driving careless driving
traffic unmarked lanes and open cont
container of alcohol were dismissed
based on prosecutorial
discretion okay so if you have a family

mileage is 166 738 cameras
on St transport

car is going to be towed to an impound
