Incident Report
On November 9, 2024, Arkansas State Police Trooper Nathan Litty and his team conducted a sobriety checkpoint in Baxter County when a silver 2003 Honda Pilot attempted to evade the stop, triggering a high-speed pursuit on State Highway 5.
🚨 How did it unfold?
The driver, Nicholas Koskinen, attempted to flee, reaching speeds of over 70 MPH while swerving dangerously.
Mid-pursuit, Koskinen was seen hanging out of the driver’s side window, erratically waving his arms.
As troopers closed in, the suspect began throwing drugs out of the vehicle, attempting to dispose of evidence.
Arkansas State Police executed multiple Tactical Vehicle Interventions (TVIs) before successfully stopping the vehicle.
Upon arrest, a search of the vehicle revealed fentanyl, methamphetamine, marijuana, THC wax, and drug paraphernalia.
This high-risk pursuit underscores the dangers officers face daily while working to remove impaired and dangerous drivers from the roads.
