DUI stop, police bodycam, refusal to submit to testing, resisting arrest without violence, traffic stop gone wrong

What began as a late-night complaint quickly turned into a DUI investigation when an officer encountered a driver who appeared impaired and attempted to walk away from the stop. The driver seemed to believe that heading straight to his door would end the encounter—but the situation escalated instead.

Body-worn camera footage captures the interaction as the officer tries to conduct the investigation, issues repeated commands, and ultimately makes an arrest. The driver refuses to cooperate during the stop and continues to resist lawful instructions, leading to additional charges.

Court records show the case was later filed as a misdemeanor matter and remains open, with proceedings still ongoing.

This video presents the events as documented through police reports and court records, allowing viewers to see how a routine call can quickly spiral when cooperation breaks down.
