Description

This bizarre bodycam footage captures the moment La Grange police discover that 53-year-old Kim S. Parisi has apparently slipped out of her handcuffs in the back of a patrol car, leading to a strange confrontation where she denies ever being in them.

The clip begins as Parisi is being removed from the vehicle at the police station. The officer immediately notices something is wrong and asks, "How'd you get the cuffs off?" Instead of explaining, Parisi denies they were ever on her, stating, "They didn't put me in cuffs."

The officer presses her on the issue, pointing out the physical evidence. "The cuffs on the floor in the back of the car? Those weren't on you?" he asks. Parisi doubles down on her denial with a simple, "No!" This baffling exchange, captured on bodycam, showcases a suspect's brazen attempt to deny an obvious reality. She further attempts to cement her innocence by claiming, "I would not break the law," despite the evidence to the contrary.

This incident took place on March 22, 2025, during Parisi's transport to the La Grange police department after being arrested for Aggravated Battery of a Peace Officer. This video provides a fascinating look into the unpredictable nature of transporting suspects and the unique challenges officers face when a suspect's claims directly contradict the physical evidence in front of them.
