Description

REAL POLICE BODYCAM footage captures the tense transport of a mother arrested after fleeing with her children while deputies discuss documents discovered in her vehicle. This bodycam video documents the procedural aftermath of a high-speed pursuit where incomplete paperwork review triggered the dangerous flight.

In this police bodycam footage, radio communication establishes the formal transport process: "10-95 one time enroute your 20 with that subject, beginning mileage 135032." This procedural detail, captured on the bodycam, documents the accountable tracking of prisoner transport following Clorisa Franklin's arrest after a chase exceeding 100 mph with three children in her vehicle.

An officer makes a definitive statement about the children's custody: "That's up to CPS now," establishing that Child Protective Services has assumed responsibility. Franklin, identified as "27" in radio communication, makes another plea about maintaining connection: "Do you mind when we get to the jail if I write down some information for them?" The transporting deputy responds reasonably: "That's fine. Once you get back there you get processed, you can write information down and you can give that to them."

Despite this accommodation, Franklin continues pressing with "Can I please..." before trailing off. The officer maintains boundaries with "We'll see," prompting her emotional response: "Please, that's..." The conversation shifts when the officer notices her condition: "Oh. Are you kinda wet? Lemme turn the air up, hang on," showing basic concern for her physical comfort during transport.

A critical exchange about documentation follows when Franklin asks "Hello, paper?" suggesting she's seeking documents. An officer reveals a significant detail about the incident's initiation: "I do, I- You know I gotta read it over. I didn't get to finish reading it when you decided to take off so." This statement, documented on bodycam, suggests that Franklin fled before the deputy could complete reviewing her paperwork—potentially the moment when her warrants were discovered.

Radio communication continues with "2330, 10-4, 30," before Franklin asks about the documents: "Can you talk to him and the papers?" The officer acknowledges: "We will, I'm... We do." She makes another request: "Would you mind collecting the other... get them right away, I have a..." The officer maintains procedure: "We'll g- We'll talk about it when we get to the jail."

Additional radio traffic provides vehicle details: "Santa County 30, return resident Rose Richards, 24 Tom 007643, 2011 Nissan Xtere, color..." before the officer reassures Franklin about her belongings: "They'll make sure. And get everything out that they need." Franklin concludes with a simple: "I'm sorry."

According to police reports, this January 31, 2024 incident in Fayette County, Texas began when a deputy observed Franklin's suspicious vehicle with covered windows at a convenience store. After running her information and discovering multiple felony warrants including one for custodial interference, Franklin fled at high speed with three children under 10 in the backseat. The chase ended with tire deflation devices, and the children were transferred to Child Protective Services.

This police bodycam footage highlights the methodical procedures that follow a high-risk apprehension, including the careful collection of evidence, documentation of prisoner transport, and the assessment of personal property that may contain relevant case information.
