Description

This intense bodycam footage captures the physical detention of 53-year-old Kim S. Parisi on a public sidewalk outside The Elm restaurant. After a disturbance inside, La Grange police are forced to go hands-on, informing a struggling Parisi that she is being detained and eventually arrested for assaulting a police officer.

The clip begins with officers trying to control a non-compliant Parisi. "You are being detained. Kim, stop," an officer commands, trying to de-escalate the situation. "This doesn't have to be any bigger deal than it needs to be."

Parisi’s confusion and agitation quickly escalate as she physically resists. "What are you guys doing?" she yells, just before an officer clearly states, "You're under arrest."

The key moment of the encounter is her immediate, shocked question: "For what?" The officer's calm, direct reply lays out the severity of the situation: "For assaulting an officer." This revelation, captured on bodycam, marks the turning point from a simple disturbance to a felony arrest.

This arrest occurred on March 22, 2025, in La Grange, Illinois. According to police reports, Kim S. Parisi was charged with Aggravated Battery of a Peace Officer after she allegedly struck an officer during an encounter at the establishment.

This video is a raw, direct look at the moments a situation turns from verbal to physical, and a suspect learns they are facing a serious felony charge.
