In May 2024, officers were dispatched to a bank after reports of an attempted fraud in progress.
A woman claiming to be from Texas tried to access a frozen account using a fake driver’s license linked to another person’s identity.

Police temporarily detained her outside the bank. After investigation, it was revealed she had been involved in identity theft, fraudulent IDs, and multiple attempts to open accounts under false names.

During questioning, she admitted she was recruited to open fraudulent accounts, with the promise of being paid up to $5,000 each time.
Her plan, however, collapsed before it even began—leading to her arrest right at the bank.

👉 Two friends who drove her to the scene were released after authorities confirmed they were not involved.
👉 The suspect now faces multiple felony charges, including identity theft and possession of fake identification.
