A schoolyard dispute escalates dramatically when a student's self-defense claim is challenged by surveillance footage, leading to an unexpected arrest. At approximately 9:00 AM, officers at a high school were alerted to an altercation in the parking lot between two students. The interaction quickly intensified when one student was observed yelling, throwing a phone, and striking the other individual multiple times in the back of the head. Upon intervention, the student involved in the assault claimed the other individual had pulled her hair, asserting self-defense. However, a review of security camera footage did not corroborate this claim, instead showing the student initiating the physical altercation. Despite the other individual declining to press charges, law enforcement determined an arrest was necessary due to the nature of the domestic incident.
