16:56 She provides an interesting response to explain why her vehicle is not registered. On July 31, 2024, Athens Police received a call about a disabled vehicle that had crashed out in front of the police station. Officers Perry and Doerr walked outside and immediately located the vehicle by following a large trail of engine oil. Sitting on the curb next to her a vehicle was the 20-year-old driver. A passerby had offered to call AAA to have the vehicle towed for her. Officers asked the woman how the vehicle became disabled and she claimed she simply got a flat tire. Officers then asked her if she had consumed any alcohol and she admitted to having one drink several hours earlier. She was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests, which led to her being arrested for DUI. She was walked a few feet to the police station, where she agreed to submit to an evidential breath test. The result was 0.166% BAC. Her charges and the outcome of her case are discussed at the end of the video.
