On June 21, 2025, Roswell Police Officer Bolanos observed a vehicle drive over a solid white outside line. He initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle, which was being driven by a 28-year-old woman. She indicated that her and her boyfriend were trying to get food at Whataburger. Officer Bolanos asked the woman to step out of the car because he could smell alcohol. She admitted to consuming one shot at a local bar. As a result, she was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests. At the end of the tests, she was placed under arrest for Driving While Under the Influence of Liquor. She was transported to the Roswell Police Station, where she submitted to a breath test. All suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
