On October 27, 2024, officers with the Key West Police Department responded to a call in reference to a male refusing to leave a gentlemen’s club. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the suspect, later identified as a 33-year-old male named Ramon who was demanding a refund from the establishment. In the end, Ramon was charged with two counts of battery on a law enforcement officer, disorderly conduct, resisting an officer with violence, and refusing to accept or sign a citation. He was also cited for failure to use due care, improper start of a vehicle, and failure to wear a seatbelt.
