Officers arrived at a Dollar General after reports of an assistant manager stealing $5,000 in cash deposits from the store’s safe. What started as a routine audit quickly turned into a full-blown investigation, uncovering missing funds, suspicious transactions, and security footage that pointed directly to the employee. As police questioned staff and reviewed the evidence, the assistant manager’s once-trusted position crumbled under the weight of her own deception.
