#bodycam #policebodycam #bodycamreports Witnesses reported a marked police cruiser swerving through traffic, running stop signs, and stopping in the roadway in Eustis, Florida. The driver was 25-year-old Apopka Police Officer Oscar Mayorga, who was armed, wearing his uniform, and reportedly heading to work. Mayorga initially said he was prone to seizures and had taken three Benadryl tablets. Officers treated the situation as a possible medical emergency, called EMS, and calmly secured his firearm. But they also detected alcohol on his breath and discovered an open beer can inside his cruiser. After first denying that he had consumed alcohol, Mayorga admitted drinking approximately three tall beers earlier that afternoon. He declined field sobriety exercises and pleaded with officers not to take him to jail. Certified breath tests reportedly produced readings of 0.391 and 0.385—nearly five times Florida’s legal threshold. Mayorga was taken to the Lake County Jail, suspended without pay, and later received 12 months of probation following the DUI case.
