A late-night traffic stop for erratic driving quickly reveals signs of impairment, leading to a challenging roadside arrest. A concerned witness reported an erratic driver, leading officers to a black 2016 Jeep on a paved road late at night. Upon contact, the driver, a woman in a light blue two-piece outfit, admitted to "probably two drinks," prompting Officer Buskiewicz to initiate field sobriety exercises. These were soon terminated due to safety concerns, and the driver was placed under arrest for driving under the influence, with an open container of alcohol later found in her vehicle. Officers assisted the driver in exiting her vehicle, instructing her to "kick your other leg up" to navigate the process. Following her transport and processing, the individual pleaded guilty to operating under the influence and unsafe operation, resulting in significant fines and an ignition interlock requirement. --- Transparency through the lens of the law.
