A nighttime traffic stop escalates when a woman resists arrest, fearing she will lose her vehicle and possessions after suspected contraband is found. This incident began with a routine traffic stop for a signaling violation and damaged lights. During the stop, officers discovered suspected illicit substances and paraphernalia within the vehicle. This discovery prompted attempts to detain the occupants, leading to an immediate increase in tension. As officers attempted to take one individual into custody, she adamantly resisted, pleading with officers and claiming she had been cooperating. Her primary concern revolved around the potential loss of her car and personal belongings if arrested. The situation intensified as officers encountered difficulty with standard restraints, prompting a discussion about finding larger handcuffs to safely secure her. They explained that if no one claimed the discovered items, both occupants would be held accountable due to their presence in the vehicle. The situation eventually resulted in a physical struggle where officers sustained injuries while attempting to subdue the individual.
