The car was heading west on St. Charles Road near Ardmore Avenue. He turned on his dash camera to watch how it was moving. Almost immediately, the driver swerved around Michigan Avenue. The vehicle kept zigzagging between Kenilworth and Emerson Avenues, nearly hitting the curb near Emerson. Just before activating his siren, the driver swerved again between E Division and E Washington Boulevard. She then made a right turn onto E Washington and hit the curb at the corner of the intersection. Quickly, she pulled over along the north side of E Washington in the neighboring town of Lombard. As the officer got out, she tried to get out of her car right away. He told her to stay seated. Deputy Szybkowski from DuPage County Sheriff's Office was there too, to help. The officer asked for her driver’s license and other documents. She was identified as 24-year-old Jessica Spencer. She said she was on her way home from DeMito’s Saloon. When asked if she drank that night, she admitted she had. Because of that, Officer Simons suspected she was drunk. He asked her to step out so she could do some field sobriety tests. The first was the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus test. During this, he saw her eyes not tracking smoothly, and he noticed nystagmus at maximum deviation. He also saw her eyes jerk a little before reaching 45 degrees. She didn’t show vertical nystagmus. Next was the Walk and Turn test. Jessica didn’t heel-to-toe properly, turned the wrong way, and took the wrong number of steps. Last was the One Leg Stand. She failed to hold her foot up right and put it down before the test was done. Because of her erratic driving, the smell of alcohol, her signs of being drunk, her own admission, and her poor performance in the tests, Officer Simons arrested her for DUI. She was handcuffed, put in his patrol car, and taken to the Villa Park Police station. At the station, she was read her rights. She refused to give enough breath samples when asked. After processing her, officers took her home and gave her a citation to appear in court. The charges included drinking and driving, improper lane use, and having outdated license plates. Records show Jessica was previously arrested for DUI in Addison, Illinois, on August 31, 2024. 1:28 Don't need to watch any more of her... 5:07 Droven? 8:10 is the EPITOME of gaslighting. 19:17 did she really make the argument that she was being nice 23:32 it should be illegal to treat your vehicle like a trash can… 25:18 because i live two blocks away 26:15 Girl……YOU put YOURSELF in that position!!!!
