On June 14, 2024, Sweetwater Police officers rushed to Florida’s Dolphin Mall after a victim reported her wallet and keys were stolen while shopping. Within minutes, the victim received instant bank alerts showing nearly $375 charged at Foot Locker—where a suspect bought expensive sneakers and attempted a fraudulent return for immediate cash. Officers quickly tracked the suspects down inside an Old Navy store, placing both adults in handcuffs in front of their young daughter.
