This raw bodycam clip from December 5, 2022, captures a defiant showdown during the arrest of Daniel Hilts, a 32-year-old patron from Punta Gorda, Florida, at Anthony’s Restaurant & Pub in Joliet, Illinois. Filmed in the parking lot at 1:50 AM, this YouTube Short shows an officer offering Hilts a cigarette and fast food, opening his car door, while Hilts snaps, “What the fuck? The fuck did I do?” He doubles down, sneering, “Give a fuck about your stupid ass detail,” and demands, “Take a cigarette. Let’s go, bro,” while claiming, “I didn’t do shit wrong to you, man.” This fiery clash is pure fuel for true crime fans. The chaos erupted when Hilts, tossed from Anthony’s for causing trouble, tried to drive his car, pulling in Officers Joseph Robinson and Robert Bukala. After ditching ride-share offers or a security escort to his nearby hotel, Hilts got hostile, leading to a takedown and charges of aggravated battery to a peace officer, aggravated assault, obstructing justice, criminal trespass to property, and resisting arrest. The neon-drenched Anthony’s parking lot sets a gritty stage for this real-life crime saga, perfect for fans of unfiltered police bodycam heat. True crime fans will devour Hilts’ bold defiance and lippy attitude, offering a raw peek into a tense cop showdown. The cigarette and fast food offer only crank up the drama in this wild arrest.
