When University of Central Florida police arrived at a campus building for an unrelated routine call, they didn't expect a passive encounter to instantly spiral into an explosive public scene. As 27-year-old student Jarrett Vick launched into a high-decibel meltdown—accusing responding officers of "misgendering" and attempting to incite a confrontation—the situation rapidly devolved into a viral disorder. In this breakdown, American Bodycam examines the tactical composure of the officers, the legal boundaries of public conduct, and the swift law enforcement response that resulted in handcuffs. This video was made for educational purposes only. The video is presented by American Bodycam to provide genuine footage of police incidents to promote transparency in government while providing educational, informative, and newsworthy content, allowing viewers to examine and assess public safety material. This is a fact-checked documentary using authoritative sources.
