On January 13, 2023, Deputies responded to a local restaurant after the manager called and requested to have the individual removed from within. When deputies made contact with the male, later identified as Tyler Bentle, made several aggressive motions toward deputies and refused to exit the restaurant. Deputies escorted Bentle out of the restaurant and placed him under arrest for Trespassing – Structure or Conveyance, Resisting an Officer Without Violence, and Defrauding a Food Operator. Bentle also had an unsettled tab for food he had ordered and eaten with the intent to not pay for. Deputies on scene paid Bentle’s unsettled tab so the restaurant and server would not go uncompensated before taking him to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility.
