This is the resort’s explanation of what happened prior to officers arriving on scene. Once on scene, officers made contact with the suspect, a 44 year old male named Kenneth. After the initial interaction, officers had further discussions with the resort and discovered that he was not a guest. However, he was purchasing items and charging them to a room. The hotel manager talked to the guest who confirmed she did not know him and they were unauthorized charges. As such, he was charged with defrauding an innkeeper. Kenneth was also charged with Battery with a prior conviction, resisting an officer without violence, trespassing, and disorderly conduct. His case remains ongoing.
