Rocky River, Ohio -- Police with the RRPD noticed a pickup truck was that was weaving in and out of lanes. Eventually the man was pulled over and the man identified himself as a Cleveland Police Officer. A supervisor was called and eventually the man was arrested and refused all tests. The man, later identified as Matt(hew) Prince, was charged with the following: - OVI - Weaving He was found guilty on OVI and his weaving charge was dismissed at his cost. Was given an 180 day jail time, but all was suspended, $800 fine, 6 points on his driver's license, license suspended for about 200 days, and probation for 730 days. Oddly enough this is not Matt(hew) Prince's first OVI, in 2015 he was charged for OVI (however that charge was later amended to Physical Control) You may have heard this name before because in 2010, him and his partner drove past a dead body on the side of the road, believing it to be a dead deer. On November 11th, Matt(hew) Prince was terminated from the Cleveland Division of Police. They noted that officer's found a bottle of Jack Daniel's under the seat, said that he hoped one of the officers contracted COVID, lied and said a woman had been driving, and somehow faked taking a BAC test during arrest. ⚠️ Footage from this video was obtained via the Ohio Public Records Act (R.C. 149.43) All suspects featured on the channel are to be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law ⚠️
