On August 2nd, 2026, officers were flagged down by a woman who reported that a man was bothering her and shouting obscenities on a crowded street. While officers attempted to address the situation, the man became increasingly confrontational and began accusing one of them of assaulting him, causing the encounter to quickly escalate.
