Fort Myers, Florida police bodycam footage captures the moment a stolen ambulance led deputies on a high-speed chase through city streets after a woman took the vehicle from Golisano Children's Hospital at 3 AM, running red lights and swerving across all three lanes with 18 cars behind her. What started as a paramedic walking out to find his ambulance gone ended with Aviation tracking her from the air and five felony charges. The bodycam documents the full encounter, from the 911 call reporting the stolen ambulance through the aerial pursuit, the moment deputies boxed her in at Island Park Road and US-41, and the discovery that the suspect had already been known to law enforcement from an earlier excited delirium incident that same night.
