** (Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only) ** Seattle police have released an in-car video that shows an officer on Sunday shooting a man authorities say was armed with knives. At 1:44 p.m. Sunday, officers went to the 1900 block of South Dearborn Street to a report of a suicidal man chasing his partner with a kitchen chopping knife out in front of their home. Officers arrived just three minutes later and contacted the victim. The suspect was no longer there. While officers were speaking to the victim, the suspect returned, armed with two kitchen knives and confronted the officers, police say. The man was rushed to Harborview Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition on Monday. Police also released a photo of the knives that they say he was carrying and a knife that he allegedly threw at the person who called 911.
