Around 5:28 PM on March 15, 2026, Deputy Dudley with the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office responded to Ulaturn Trail and Seminole Woods Boulevard on a report of a multi-vehicle crash resulting from someone driving under the influence. She was eventually flagged down by some witnesses who led her to the vehicle that had struck multiple other vehicles before fleeing the scene of the crash. Deputy Patel conducted an investigation at the scene of the initial crash, while Deputy Dudley made contact with the 2 occupants of a black 2010 Toyota Tacoma. Witnesses claimed that a woman was driving the truck, and there was a male and female occupant inside the truck. The female was identified as 25-year-old Marina Brandon, while the male occupant in the passenger seat was identified as 28-year-old Austin Flores. Both individuals were initially placed in handcuffs as the officers worked to determine who was actually driving at the time of the crash. As Deputy Dudley was speaking with Marina, she observed indicators of impairment and detected the odor of alcohol. There were multiple open containers inside the vehicle. Once the officers determined that Marina was driving the truck at the time of the crash, she was asked to exit the patrol car and perform field sobriety exercises. Deputy Dudley started with the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus (HGN) test. The second exercise was the Walk and Turn test. Marina was unable to complete the Walk and Turn test, and the field sobriety exercises were terminated. Based on the property damage caused by the motor vehicle accident, her indicators of impairment, the odor of alcohol, and her inability to adequately perform the field sobriety exercises, Marina was placed under arrest for driving under the influence. Marina was transported by Deputy Dudley to the Flagler County Inmate Facility for further processing. At the jail, she agreed to submit to a breath test. Her breath test results indicated BAC levels of 0.250% and 0.250%, which were more than triple the legal limit of 0.08%. Marina was then taken to the Advent Health Hospital for further evaluation since she had been in a car crash, but she refused medical treatment. She was transported back to the Flagler County Inmate Facility, where she ultimately invoked her Miranda rights and refused to answer any questions. Marina was charged with the following: -DUI with Property Damage or Personal Injury (316.193(3)(c)(1))) -Driving without a valid driver license (322.03(5)) -Leaving the scene of an accident involving property damage (316.061(1)) Marina was eventually released on a $5,500 bond pending her court appearance. Court records indicate that on June 4, 2026, Marina was found guilty of DUI, while the other 2 charges were nolle prossed. As a result of her conviction, she was sentenced to 12 months of probation and 50 hours of community service. Following this incident, Marina was later arrested again for domestic battery on May 10, 2026. That arrest occurred after Marina allegedly struck Austin Flores when they were both under the influence of alcohol. Marina and Austin do not have any children together, but Marina’s own child was with its father and not inside the residence at the time of her physical altercation with Austin. Marina’s prior arrests include the following instances: -Domestic battery on August 25, 2020 -Criminal mischief on June 1, 2023 -Domestic battery on April 22, 2024 ---------------------------------------------------- Please LIKE, SUBSCRIBE, and consider supporting this channel (email us for more information).
