Around 10:33 AM on April 7, 2026, Officer Rishikesh Ranade with the Cherry Hill Police Department responded to the parking lot of Chick-fil-A at 1749 Route 70 on a report of a driver operating a black Ford Transit van in an erratic manner. Dispatch had advised that the vehicle was being operated in an erratic manner on I-295, before the driver had pulled into the parking lot of the Chick-fil-A and fallen asleep at the wheel. Officer Ranade arrived on scene and made contact with the driver, who was later identified as Tia Daloisio. Tia was asleep at the wheel, and the vehicle was still in drive. Officer Ranade opened the door and put the car in park. He had a great deal of difficulty in waking Tia, but he eventually guided her out of the vehicle. She denied consuming any controlled substances, but admitted to drinking a bottle of wine. Based on his suspicion of impairment, he asked Tia to perform field sobriety exercises, but she told him that she would be unable to do so. Based on her indicators of impairment and her admission to drinking a bottle of wine, Officer Ranade placed Tia under arrest for driving under the influence. Mark Warner with Back to Life Recovery arrived on scene and took custody of the company’s vehicle, so it was not necessary to tow the car under John’s Law. It would later be revealed that Tia had just been hired as an employee of Back to Life Recovery, and that she was responsible for driving the company van. Officer Ranade first transported Tia to the Pennsauken Police Department for further processing because their own breathalyzer machine was not working. At the station, Tia vomited during the first 20-minute observation period. Officer Ranade read Tia the Standard Statement for Motor Vehicle Operators, but she ultimately refused to submit breath samples. Tia was then transported back to the Cherry Hill Police Department. After the officers finished processing her, she was ultimately released to Mark Warner after he signed the Potential Liability Warning form on Tia’s behalf. Patrolman Mania issued Tia the following citations: -Operating under the influence (39:4-50) -Refusal to submit to chemical test (39:4-50.4A) -Reckless driving (39:4-96) -Careless driving (39:4-97) Tia has previously been arrested for driving while impaired by the New York State Police in Waterloo, NY on August 15, 2024.
